Hi! My name is Ariel and I'm 15 (soon to be 16 -- in August) years old. My pen-name is Arya Rose, but I haven't been using it lately. I live in Ohio, and my family has a lake cottage up in Coldwater, Michigan. It is the most amazing place... It's finally open for the summer! I'm so excited now that I have a laptop because I can take it up there and write! Not to mention, summer is my favorite season! The lake cottage is so damned inspiring, it cannot be healthy~ Maybe now DoTM will actually GO somewhere! YES! My great-grandparemts... well, great-grandmother has finally opened the pool! I love that freaking pool... it's amazing! It'll be weird going there though... My Great Grandfather passed away on my birthday last year, and before he passed away I would swim while my family visited him; I hate going through the whole cancer thing... I've done it with both of my great grandfathers now, and I absolutely effing hate it! Watching them waste away to nothing is horrible, so I liked to swim to get away from it all. Now, this year just like all years past (minus last) years, I'm having a pool party for all of my friends over there. I don't know how I'm going to feel about being there on the anniversary of his death... I doubt I'll be in a partying mood, but I owe it to my amazing friends to try.
As of 6/6/08, I'm no longer a freshman! Sophmore it is~ Man, summer can't seem to have come fast enough! I love how it's 90 degrees F today for the first time; it actually feels like summer instead of spring!! Yes! This summer is going to be absolutely amazing! I can't wait!

6/15/08: Wow... Chapter six of DoTM is coming along quite micely!! I thought that this chapter would be boring, but I've found several ways to liven it up, and it's quickly become another of my favorites! And Good Lord, I'm amazing at writing cliff-hangers! XD I love writing them for some reason... It just doesn't feel as though the chapter is finished unless there's a good cliffie to end with!
6/6/08: Now that I'm finally out of school, I can devote much more time to my stories. However, I have several summer projects that I need to do for my honors classes next year, so that will take up the next month or so. After that, I'll be focused on getting DoTM going again!!
5/28/08: Yes! Chapter Five of DoTM is finally up! Man, am I excited to finally post that effing thing! Now I'm working on Chapter Six, and I have to say that this chapter will take a while... exams coming up and all, I don't have a lot of time...
5/23/08: Wow... I haven't updated in a long while. Meh. I'm here now~ And guess what? I'm so effing bored. There was a senior vs. staff basketball game today at my school, but I didn't feel the need to waste money on a ticket to go. Thus, I'm stuck in my fourth block, which thankfully has a computer, staring at the back of Arianna's head. XD I'm not stalking her, I promise~ creepy fouryear-old-turned-demon voice Life's been... hectic lately. Between school and everything else, I've hardly had any time to do ANYTHING. I'm going up to the lake cottage this gloriously long weekend, and I'm taking Kat along with me (She's the one who wrote Lonely Heart with me)! I don't think that I'll have internet while up there, but on the off chance that I can hijack somebody's wi-fi, I'll try to write. If I don't get the chance to get online, I'll still have my laptop with me, and it has all of my DoTM crap on it, so I'll still get to work on it while I'm on the boat and the ones I call family are fishing. Ick. I hate fishing. It's much to messy and gross. (I swear, I'm not girly. No, seriously. I hardly ever wear makeup, my hair always sucks, and my clothes of choice are jeans and hoodies, which are usually a size too large for me for so I can hide my figure cough-lack thereof-cough) So yeah... But good news? DoTM is actually going somewhere... knocks on wood Yeah. I have had the urge to write all freaking day, and this is the only time that I've been able to satisfy that urge. v.v Chapter five is... well, I wish that I could tell you that it's almost done, but in truth, I'm not even half-way there going by my word-count... goes off to write some more
4/9/08: Okay, well, I've had... NO TIME to do any writing. Ick. I had to miss school yesterday because I was sick (again), and on top of the no time thing, I've had a bit of the "I don't want to write this story anymore!"... DoTM... makes me want to punch babies.
4/18/08: Chapter four is up! Chapter five is going to be up rather soon as well, since it's going to really be a direct continuation of chapter four; I went over my wordcount on ch. 4, so I had to come up with a suitable ending and continue on with the legends and background info about what's going on in chapter 5. I hope to have it up by the middle of next week!
4/14/08: How much do you guys love me? I posted chapter three a few minutes ago for you! I was going to wait until at least Wednesday to do it so that it gave me a bit of time to start on the massive task of fixing the main reason why the story was taken off the site in the first place... But what can I say? I wanted to get something up for you~ I've updated my documents so that I can work on it during class when I have absolutely nothing to do (like now = )
4/11/08: So, I reposted chapter one, chapter two, and the prologue of Daughter of the Moon. I'm still working on fixing the rest, so it may be a while before anything else gets posted.
4/10/08: So, I'm pissed. I just realized that I have to SERIOUSLY fix Daughter of The Moon. Which means that I'm taking it off of the site for a while. It'll be back, I promise~ I just have to add in a few chapters before chapter four. And come up with a plot for the damned thing. I have an end. I have a kick ass beginning. I HAVE NO MIDDLE. ...Yeah. So the Prologue is up and kickin still, I've just got to fix the rest... Technically, I could post chapter 1 as well, but... --shrugs-- I may post it soon. Or I may just rewrite it.

So, the extremely long rant about plagiarism and DoTM:
As I'm sure some of you know, I was having problems for a while after I realized that this was, in fact, a bit like The Sight by David Clement-Davies. Yes, I have read the book (actually, I've read it 76 times at last count), and no, THIS IS NOT A FANFICTION OF ANY SORT.
I know it seems as though it could be, but c'mon people! Did The Sight start out with the vicious murder of pups? or a trial? no. The only similarities as of now are that A) There's a villian who was exiled. B) it's a wolf pack. and C) Some of the wolves will eventually come to possess some form of supernatural powers. OMFG, Have you ever read a decent story without a villian? And... I am not even going to respond to that second one. If you have a problem with that, then why have you even read this far? As for the final similarity, my exact reaction is this: "... How many stories currently involve the use of "magic" or "supernatural powers"? A LOT. Get over it."
Now, on a less bitchy note, Let me just say that this is a really sore topic for me. I made several changes, ensuring that I would not get any more reviews informing me that my story was like Warriors because of the name/pack structure, or The Sight. When the sequel to The Sight, Fell came out finally, I was in tears by the end of the novel. It seemed as though I had some form of ESP: everything I changed seemed to only make it more like Fell. Now, could you please tell me how the hell I can copy something BEFORE IT IS EVEN PUBLISHED?!
HOWEVER! I promise you that this story is a lot different than The Sight, and my best friend Jillian (Thestoryteller19) can second that statement. She did, after all, help come up with a good portion of the plot, and she has never read The Sight, so if you accuse me of plagiarising, I will merely point at her and then we will both start having a fit. --laughs--

Angel In Time:
Okay, I wrote this when I was in 4th grade. I know it actually could use a lot of fixing up, but I can't bring myself to change it! I wrote it after my great-grandfather died of cancer, and I just... can't. I'm leaving it as it is. So any constructive criticism will be noted, but not necessarily fixed.
Lonely Heart:
This was a poem written during English class with my friend Kat, who is an AMAZING poet. Seriously. I suck, but between the two of us, we came up with this. I love it!

This was a poem that I just sort of randomly found while cleaning out my old binders full of crappy story ideas. --laughs-- It's old and it's most likely crappy, but what the hell. You know you want to read it, even if it's just so you can review and let me know how badly it sucks.
About Me:
Let's see... I LOVE to read, and it is difficult to catch me without a book in my hands!! I like to sing (but, I really suck at it more times than not), I love videogames, and writing (of course!!).
I'm a straight A student, but I've been struggling in my History class to maintain this grade... Let's just say this class is nearly impossible, and I'm certainly not the only one who thinks so. Anyways, I am in all honors classes but one (Biology. Yes, I know. I can hear you. "You're planning to be a vet, and yet you're not taking HONORS BIO?! WTF?!" ...trust me. I've heard it over and over again. And I agree with you! =P I plan to fix that next year!) and I don't hate school, but there are other places I'd rather be (like asleep!!). Especially since I'm a freshman (9th grade) in high school this year. My math class (when I had it last semester) was technically a sophmore honors class. The workload? Ugh. Let's not go there. It's seriously killing what little time I had to write to begin with! ...I no longer have my sanity of the day, 4th block (HTML). The semester ended, and with it my classes all went fwah. Yes, fwah! That is MY word. I use it quite frequently, ask all of my amazing friends! At least I still have a computer class 4th block... but it sucks. It's the most annoying stupid class ever, and even my old HTML teacher informed me that I would hate it. It's basically the opposite of HTML. Ugh. But there is on bonus: I always finish my work within ten to fifteen minutes out of 90 minute classes! Thank god fictionpress is not blocked on school computers~ That is when I do the majority of my writing!
As I mentioned above on my "not taking honors bio" rant, I aspire to be a veterinarian someday, and have a deep love of animals! I myself have an adorable dog named Angel, and two gerbils (which if you refer to them as rats, you die. Ask TheStoryteller19. I'm very touchy about that. THEY ARE NOT RATS!!).
So yeah, that's pretty much all about me!

The Warriors series by Erin Hunter, the Redwall series (Yes, all 27 of those damned books! XD), the Eragon trilogy, Harry Potter, the Clique series, umm... oh yeah- the Leven thumps books! (Those are really good! I don't know what the series is called... or if there is even a name for the series, both of the books out currently are like 'Leven Thumps and the...', so I'll just go with that!), and It'll be best if I end the list there... Otherwise you'll injure your head when it falls down and collides with the keyboard. --laughs--
Favorite Anime/Manga:
SAILOR MOON!! In my opinion, Sailor Moon is the best manga and anime EVER!! I've been a fan since I was 5 years old!! If you've never seen or heard of this anime/manga, I feel for your poor deprived soul!! The only way to see it since it was taken off the air and is out of print is to either watch it on youtube or to buy off of e-bay or other sites like it... I did!! I'm the proud owner of all 5 seasons, including the untranslated season 5. I hope to have the world's largest Sailor Moon collection someday... Wow... see, this is what happens when someone mentions sailor moon!! I go into a long rant!! I really had a hard time in social studies last year, because we were learning about all of the sea voyages, and all of the sailors and pirates and all of that american history crap, and every time I heard the word 'sailor' I barely managed to contain myself, and not blurt out MOON!! Okay, not ending the rant here would be dangerous to my health.
Anyways... Other good ones that I enjoy are... Loveless, Fruits Basket, Inyuyasha, um... Guru-Guru Pon-Chan (really cute! I'm actually really sad that it's over now... sniffle), Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, Princess Ai, Wolf's Rain, Pretear, Scrapped Princess, Aria, Ultra Cute, Full Moon, and the list goes on and on and on and on...
Music:
I hate the hardcore rap, but I do like some of the hip-hop music... My favorite band of all time is Tokio Hotel. They are a german band, and they're AMAZING.
Bill, the lead singer, is currently recovering from surgery. He had a cyst on one of his vocal chords, and he could have lost his voice forever if the surgery had not gone perfectly. I am glad to hear that Bill has made a full recovery! The band is even coming to North America on their tour! I'm uber excited~
I do not have a favorite song by them (Hell, I have yet to find ONE song by them that I don't like!), but if I had to tell you which ones I like best, they'd be...

I hate country music with a passion. I also hate any music that was pre-1990s. ...come to think of it, most 90s music sucked as well. Ugh.
Television and Movies:
Okay, so Jericho on CBS is (was) the most amazing show EVER. It's a fastpaced drama series, and it has (had) excellent CONTENT, unlike all of those shitty reality TV shows out these days. The sad thing is that CBS has cancelled it. Twice. Yes, twice. The first time, fans pulled together and managed to start a campaign titled "Nuts!" based off of the last line in the season finale. Because of the amazing display of passion for the show, they brought back seven more episodes which they labeled as season two. The season finale turned out to be the series finale as well, but... it was a horrible ending to an awesome show. Instead of leaving the door open for other networks to pick up the show if they were interested, they left a GAPING HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. It was horrible... Nothing was wrapped up. There were so many loose ends, we could have made our own tasseled rug! I'm going to stop now... before I start screaming again.
Movies... High School Musical, Pirates of the Carribean series, Mr. Brooks, The Covenant... umm... I don't really watch that many movies...
