Hello there, random person I don't know, and probably never will know, thanks for visiting my profile! Now, most likely, it is going to remain empty for a while, because I'm a bit wary after my fanfiction.net profile - I piled so much stuff into it that it ended up just a huge mess. Also, I stopped updating it. So, here's a warning - DON'T READ MY FANFICTION.NET PROFILE!

Now then, do you want to learn about me? Well, obviously, if you're reading my profile, you do, hopefully with good intentions, however, if you happen to be a creepy stalker person who is going to kidnap me and molest me, just so you know, I'm lying about everything in my profile. You would do much better to molest someone else. Trust me, I only want you to have the best time molesting some unsuspecting victim. I'm just not the right one for you. I say again: Trust me; I'm not the one for you. (Which brings to mind the immortal song by K.T Tunstall;

Well my heart knows me better than I know myself
So I'm gonna let it do all the talking.
I came across a place in the middle of nowhere
With a big black horse and a cherry tree.

I felt a little fear upon my back
He said "Don't look back, just keep on walking."
When the big black horse said, "Hey lady!" When the big black horse said, "Look this way"
Said, "Look this way, will you marry me?" Said, "Hey, lady, will you marry me?"

But I said no, no, no, no-no-no
I said no, no, you're not the one for me
No, no, no, no-no-no
I said no, no, you're not the one for me)

Just so everyone knows, I will most likely be inserting little song bits like that into my entire profile (however, that may be the only one, so don't go looking for too many more). It's a new thing I've come up with. You can ignore them or, read them. The choice is mine.

I have two stories up right now; The Children, and Animal Rights. It would be nice if someone would review The Children, which is a really good sci-fi story (in my opinion), at the moment located on the 12th page of the sci-fi section. It would be nice if no one reviewed Animal Rights - the only reason I still have it up is because of the reviews other people have given, which had good advice in them that I don't want to lose, at least for the moment. There is a fantasy/humor story in the works for me, which I swear is going to be great. The working title for the moment is 'The Witch Next-Door', but it is still a work-in-progress. I will most likely have a totally different title by the time I get around to posting it.

Surprisingly enough, I have friends. I also have hobbies. Since I only have one friend on this site that it is possible you know, I will give you her name, instead of separating out an entire bolded section for her. Her pen name is That Insufferable Noise (T.I.N). As for hobbies... Well, you'll see about that farther down, if you dare to read on.

Latest OCD Obsession;

Les Miserablès (book and musical)

Favorite Quotes

I have many favorite quotes. I have more favorite quotes than I care to write down. Therefore, I will only put up quotes once and a while, when I feel like it. Feel free to laugh, giggle, chortle, chuckle, and guffaw. Or don't. I seriously don't care. My nose is stuffed up and my throat hurts like heck, and I still have to sing in chorus tomorrow. So maybe these quotes will uplift yours or my spirits a bit. Or not.

"School is no longer a peaceful place where you can catch up on your daydreaming, forget your family (or what is left of your family), and talk about things like Dr. Who and how to stop Global Warming (we all know how but we don't stop it) and if it is okay for boys to wear pink and all those other things we talk about.

School, says Mr. Spencer, is an educational establishment."
-Rose, Forever Rose

"So Neal, do you feel educated?"

"Incredibly. Why, words simply fail me about how educated I'm getting."

- Alanna and Neal, Squire

"Well, it certainly does because our -- our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They're in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia ... We have trade missions back and forth. We-- we do-- it's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where-- where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is-- from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to-- to our state."

--Sarah Palin, asked by Katie Couric how Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, CBS interview"

"Well, let's see. There's -- of course -- in the great history of America rulings there have been rulings."

--Sarah Palin, unable to name a Supreme Court decision other than Roe vs. Wade, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008

"There was an energy bill on the floor of the Senate loaded down with goodies, billions for the oil companies, and it was sponsored by Bush and Cheney. You know who voted for it? You might never know. That one. You know who voted against it? Me."

--John McCain, referring to Barack Obama during the second presidential debate, Nashville, Tenn., Oct. 7, 2008

"Last week, in the National League divisional playoffs, the Chicago Cubs faced the Los Angeles Dodgers. In Game 1, the Cubs lost 7-3. In Game 2, they lost 10-3 and in Game 3, 3-1. What, as president, would you do to guarantee that this never happens again? Senators, in your answers, please be specific,"

-Bill Murray, SNL

There now, wasn't that fun? Don't they fit? Did you laugh, giggle, chortle, chuckle, or guffaw? You should have.

Hobbies

Reading, reading, reading, and did I mention reading? Writing, singing, going to school, playing violin, correcting people's grammar, making funny remarks about a) politics, b) books, c) other people, and d) life, Mugglenet Interactive, listening to my iPod, petting soft animals (such as kittens) and reading/talking about other soft/non soft non-humanoid creatures, eating yummy food (such as chocolate pudding), talking, making sarcastic/cynical remarks, quoting movies, books, plays, and life, playing soccer, ranting about several different topics with my best friend That Insufferable Noise, swimming, watching the Olympics, listening to/reading Les Miserablès, doing puzzles, acting in plays, and, occasionally drawing.

Favorite Books/Plays/Musicals?

Same as with quotes, except different. I have far too many books and plays that I like to simply
name them all. It would take about a week, and then I would have missed orientation, and I would have missed getting my schedule, and you would probably skip over most of them anyway. So, I will just post my favorite authors, and occasionally, the name of a musical or play or book alone, if I don't know the author. So, to commence (in particular order):

Lois Lowry, Hilary McKay, Tamora Pierce, JK Rowling, JRR Tolkien, Victor Hugo, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, CS Lewis, EL Konigsburg, Stephenie Meyer, Jared Diamond, West Side Story, Eoin Colfer, Phillip Pullman, Ursula K. LeGuin, Robin McKinley, Patricia C. Wrede, Grease, Sylvia Engdahl, Connie Willis, Lloyd Alexander, Avi, Cynthia Kadohata, Joan Aiken, Jane Austen, Camelot, Eva Ibbotson, Gail Carson Levine, Jean Ferris, West Side Story, Les Miserablès. And many more that I can't think of right now.

Favorite Movies:

Now, this I can do, although again, I probably won't name as many as I'd like to.

Glory, Gladiator, Star Wars, All three Lord of the Rings adaptions, Shakespeare in Love, Casablanca, Les Miserablès, Sense and Sensibility (both versions), Pride and Prejudice (both versions), Pirates of the Caribbean, all classic Disney films, the Court Jester, Galaxy Quest, The Matrix, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Hidalgo, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, My Fair Lady, Ever After, Duma, and more I can't think of right now.

I will add more in due time, but for the moment...

Adieu!
