WRITING STYLE: For the most part, most of my writing has been collaborations with others, due the fact that I used to roleplay quite a bit. The majority of those were either fantasy/medieval or modern/vampire in nature. My stories tend to be fairly action packed--some are more light-hearted, others much darker. Usually there is a great deal of suffering or tragedy, and perhaps some grotesque goings-ons. I like romance in the books that I read, so that is a general element in my plot lines, although, I don't like for it to be the main focus. I like to explore death, mental illnesses, and the strength of family ties and friendship through my tales, so those types of things also appear frequently.

CURRENT WORKS:

BELIEVE ME (COMPLETE)This particular piece was inspired by my relationship with a friend of mine, or what remains of it. It just sort of spilled out when I was pondering the mistakes I had made, and the numerous things that I wished had happened differently. Don't worry, though. Unlike the guy in the poem, my friend is still alive and kicking!

TO COME:

THE BLOOD LUST: A completely reworked version of the story originally titled "The Bearer", where several elements have either been combined, vaguely altered, or changed entirely. The Blood Lust follows the path of a cursed young woman and her struggle against her own bad blood and selfish inclinations, as she plunges further and further in to a world of death and pointless destruction. With several lives and a prophecy hanging in the balance, Camdin Mirobe is faced with the ultimate decision, but will she be able to push beyond the cowardice and self-love of a murderer to make the right choice, or will she cling to her own life, even at the detriment of her beloved sister?

STATUS: Outline in progress.

UNTITLED: Cosima, a magic-bearer born in to a world where magic is feared and often hated, has spent a life time on the outskirts of society, where her only home has existed underground, tucked from the piercing gaze of the monarchy. She, along with her adoptive mother and a handful of others form a rebel group, hoping to somehow liberate their kind from the harsh laws that have been imposed upon them in recent years. The struggle becomes a question of method, as they search for a plan that will accomplish their goal without filling the populace with more fear and malice. When an idea finally springs to life, Cosima finds herself in altogether new and dangerous surroundings, where a single false move could spell death and disaster. However, she will relent at nothing to restore freedom to her fellow wielders.

STATUS: Outline undergoing revision.
