I'm the Emotional Envoke, or Frank. I'm 15. I'm about to go into the 10th grade. Three years until graduation and college. Hurrah.
I remember when I was young and in school, when the teacher asked what you wanted to be when you grew up, my ambition would always change by year. It ranged from a paramedic to a cartoonist to an archeoligist to a detective. But none of them lasted long. It wasn't until I was in 7th grade that I realized that my skill is writing.
Writing is my favorite hobby and my best skill, and I want to expand my horizons further, as I want to be a famous novelist one day. You'll see my works in Borders and such in the future, and one day I hope I have a large net worth worth millions (perferably billions). I plan to turn The Freedom of Me and Mixed Feelings into a full length novel one day and publish it, so that I can start my career as a novelist...and be the first one out of my group of writing buddies to be published (take THAT Sili).
I read and write on a daily basis, and I'll explore many different novels and forms of writing to develop my unique sense of style. Currently the novel I'm reading is A Tale of Two Cities, and I have just finished All Quiet on the Western Front. My favorite novel is The Catcher in the Rye, despite Holden calling everyone "phonies", and my favorite play is Romeo and Juliet, which Beckon to the Next Life is loosely based on.
I have a very high knowledge of the English language, despite my age. I can envoke the emotions inside my readers quite easily with my poetry, and my stories touch base with many. I enjoy to pass the time writing, letting my imagination take control and develop the storyline as the plot continues.
Music is also a large part of my life, just like Jimmy, and you'll see music references, both subtle and upfront, in most of my stories. Kudos to Green Day and My Chemical Romance for Who Wrote Holden Caufield? and the reference to Romeo and Juliet in The Sharpest Lives respectively. The Freedom of Me contains some obvious Green Day references, such as BJA High and such, and Mixed Feelings contains an upfront references to My Chemical Romance. Keep your eyes out for more references.
I'm here to get opinions and praise, and to get my writing known, just so that it might not be so hard when I'm out of college to get the attention of a publisher.
So if you feel the need, send me a message or leave a comment and tell me what you think of my works. I'd love to hear any critism, good or bad, and if you feel the need for hate mail, it amuses me very much, just like this review for Beckon to the Next Life:
"I HATE this story! You have no talent what-so-ever! You shouldn't be writing these stories! I don't even see why you write! I think you're a horrible writer! You're making a pit just like Stop being stupid and stop writing this!"
You will begin to see less and less of me over the next few weeks, for good reason. I'm beginning to edit and write The Freedom of Me so that it may be published. It'll take a while, and it'll include some more editing, yelling and screaming, coffee, more yelling and screaming, arguing, even more yelling and screaming, and power naps, but eventually, it will be out there for the world to bask in glory. So stay tuned, and I'll keep you all updated on its status.
