From Central Illinois, I'm a Helpdesk Technician for the Department of Children and Family Services at our state's capital. I'm 50 and a mother of two sons, ages 23 and 26. One is a grad school student at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. The other is happily married, although, like so many others recently, out of a job and looking for work.

I cut my teeth on authoring fan fiction, starting when I was about 10 and would like to think I've gotten better since then. :-)
