I'm so sorry. I just lost my inspiration for a lot of my stories. So, I'm going to be editing what I have so far before moving on. And I'll try to catch up with all my reviewing and such by the end of this weekend. If anyone puts up with me after this, they're angels, I swear. Once again, SO SORRY =( I've just been so busy this year. And I'm going into high school soon (insert horrified shiver here). And I've been mostly writing on my other account, which I'll put more about right up in my contact info. I have two stories there; one being currently written and another on stand-by. But I'll catch up here before I do any more updating there. I can't believe I've been away for so long. My password for this account is still my ex-boyfriend (though he wasn't the last time I logged in, so I totally forgot my password). Butttttt yeah.. so sorry. I'll be writing away for the next few days. 6/6/09: Okay, so when it comes to plagiarism (since there's quite a rise of this on fictionpress lately and there's no way in hell I'm taking down any of my stories because of it), I have half a family of amazing lawyers (and I have a huge family) who would help me in a heartbeat. I have proof these stories are mine. I did a trick with my email that most published authors do to prove stories belong to them, so I do this with every chapter at least two weeks before they're posted. If I ever see anyone or hear of anyone plagiarising anything that's mine or a friend's, someone's gonna get sued big time. I'm not just bluffing or any shit like that; I'm serious. So if I ever get plagiarised, just know that that person is gonna be dirt poor by the time I'm through with them. I'm not saying all of this to be mean, and if you're just here to read and write, this doesn't apply to you, but I'm not going to put up with my hard work being copied and pasted onto some other lazy loser's website. Anyone can write if they try hard and do their best. Stealing isn't proving you have awesome writing skills, it's proving you have no life and no respect for anyone other than yourself. Enough said. I'm not saying I'm an awesome writer or anything, but I do try really hard to make good stories. This is info about my current works on FictionPress, just in case you're interested . . . Summer Vacation (Complete) If you haven't read this story yet, I recommend you don't, because I have the rewrite (which is very different, but still has the same plot). But I'm keeping this up until it's finished. The 'rewrite' is His Smile. I bet you can see a few changes already if you started reading it. There is also much better grammar and spelling AND a lot more details and extra days that I didn't explain. Yet, people are still reading it. lol. Putting this up here deems pretty useless. You have no idea how much I want to delete this story. It reminds me of my horrible grammar a year or so ago. The only reason I kept it is so I don't forget the original plot for it. (I got a new computer and no longer have the story in it.) His Smile (In Progress) This is the re-write of Summer Vacation, but I thought the title should be changed since the first one (Summer Vacation) seemed a bit too cheesy for me. Too many other stories with the same name. And I also changed some character names because . . . I really don't think my actual name would suit the character much anymore. I mean, it basically started as something that was my over-exaggerated summer, plus me actually ending up with the guy :P But I actually hate his guts at the moment, so that's why I'm changing the name. Secondly, I'm preserving my name for a better story. Lol. One I'm really interested in. Maybe a real-life story. But basically, it's turned into a whole different story with the same main idea and maybe a few of the same jokes. The way they meet is different, the names are different, and the name of the story is different. BUT they still are on summer vacation in the same house, and they DO have wise-ass not-so-smart-at-matchmaking cousins, and the same looks. Anyway, this is about a girl who has two divorced parents and is going to her father's beach house for the summer with her dad's side of the family. On the way to the shore, her and her father almost join a huge fire with a car wreck, and of course, she goes to help. At first, when she meets him at the hospital, they're quite fond of each other (I won't tell you why they're actually at the hospital though :P:P), but then they find out who they are and all hell breaks loose. He hates her because he blames her for his little brother (Robert, mostly mentioned as Bobby) being in a coma. Another problem is : she thinks Bobby's dead. Leah (the before mentioned girl) had no idea Shane was going to stay with her for the summer. Two things twist and turn her summer into an unmentionable state : her hormones and Nicole, Julia and Joey's plan to get Leah and Shane together. You have to read the rest. (: I'm evil, I know. But I can't spoil it all now! Prequel: Only His Baby Book 1: His Smile Book 2: Yesterday's Letter Book 3: Here Without You Somewhere Down This Road (Coming Soon) This is about a girl named Elpitha who had an unknown past that she shares with no one. She ran away, that's all I'm telling you. And she ended up in Runegrove Town. She lives there for three years, trying to avoid the townspeople whenever possible. But then she saves a little girl (Melody) from drowning. That's not the problem, that's the BEGINNING of the problem. Melody's grandfather (Barley) wants to repay Elpitha for saving Melody. That's not the problem either. The problem is, she ends up 'meeting' a boy named Hayden at Barley's house. Hayden wasn't a stranger though, he was someone she knew before she ran away. He doesn't notice that she's really someone he knows. A bunch of crazy/weird friends + clueless boy from her past = many problems. The rest, once again, you need to find out yourself. When I wrote this, I was obsessed with the video game Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town so don't be surprised of upset if you see any little similarities (nothing major at all, it's just that someone mentioned it). Book 1: Somewhere Down this Road Book 2: Somewhere Through the Shattered Glass Save the World, Just Kill Royce (In Progress) This is about a crazy mental novelist named Meirin Allison Wallston who walks into a Subway and meets this guy Will (dubbed the name Hunka Munka Man, by Meirin) and she thinks he's her one and only true love. When she starts hanging out with his friends, she easily fits in. But when Royce Vanders, Will's cousin, moves to their town, how will they get along? Not very well. And when she finds out that she was meant to save the world? She only has one thing to comment, "I'll save the world, but just kill Royce." She regrets that thought later, when . . . etc. Silent Serenade (In Progress) Viruna is the devil's son, who was kicked out of his kingdom and home for a reason he doesn't know. His father just said. "Bring her to me. She needs to die." So now he's stuck, being a soul-sucking women-luring boy, at New Dreamz High, living in a house with his sister, April. He's posing as "Vincent Viruna" at school, but before he even arrives, he gets into something he can't seem to get out of. He sees a girl about to get hit by a car. A beautiful girl that just so happens to be "marked" by the devil (his father) with a burn in the form of a music note. And he saves her. But he doesn't know why. Her soul is concealed, and he didn't want to hurt her in the first place. But his father had other plans . . . and Viruna doesn't know whether to stop them and save her from a horrible fate and go against his own father, or to bring down her shield so his father can kill her for some unknown reason. And he was going to have to act fast and be careful . . . because if he wants to save her, he has to do something he just may not be most happy to do . . . . . . And you'll have to read to find out! This is eventually going to be a series of 3, I already have the names and basic plots for them. Book 1: Silent Serenade Book 2: Secret Siren Book 3: Sweet Sacrifice Jersey Girl (In Progress) Jade Emmett hates her life, her parents, and is a bit angry at her sister for moving out without giving anyone any sort of notice. Most of all, she's mad because she misses her ex boyfriend, whom she broke up with when he moved to Australia. Four years after his depart, her mom ships her off to a boarding school down in Australia, and she's completely against the idea. Surprisingly, it's the same school that Zack (her ex) goes to, and as soon as he sees her he's absolutely determined to somehow get her back. And he won't shut the hell up until she listens to him. She has no idea what she's supposed to act like in Australia, and is perplexed by phrases that make no sense to her. What did she expect, though, after all? She's a New Jersey girl. Okay, this is probably just a one-go single story. Maybe a sequel if enough people want me to (which I doubt, because I don't really think I write that well). The first few chapters were short, but the next one's will be longer. I just needed to develop some personalities a bit and set the plot line along. I came up with this pretty randomly at school and for some reason became extremely inspired to write this at Social Studies, and am on a pretty awesome roll with writing this thing. The next chapter might take a little time, because I have no friggin idea what things are like in Australia, and what's normal there. In Sydney, specifically. I have to research. Big time. So, if any of you Australian people out there could help me out a bit, I'd reeeaaaalllyyy appreciate it. Gabrielle Actually, this was a random inspiration I got just now. Technically . . . it's about me. I'm not quite sure where I'm going with it, but it's my life so I know I have the story straight. Lol. I'm trying to make it an average story. It's NOT an autobiography. I'm too young to make an autobiography. The story is just completely and utterly based on me and my life. Everything in here is true and real. Nothing changed/edited. I have great memory, so the conversations are real too, word for word. I hope it's not too bad. I tried to write it from a personal perspective, while also not being overdramatic. If you don't like it, don't read it. Simple. I really would prefer it if people didn't comment insulting any "characters," unless if they're characters I don't like, because these are REAL PEOPLE in my life. If you go and insult me on my thoughts and how I feel it will totally uninspire me and this'll be just another story gone to crap. Haha. Enjoy =) | |||||||||
