I like writing about a lot of things for fun (mostly Romance...and the Joker)and the things I write about ARE usually things I like. =) . Anyways...I LOVE to read and write, and hopefully I will get more stories up on here and poems as well. I am a twenty-three year old female who just got back in the very well-loved habit of writing. I've always loved writing because it's what I truly enjoy doing and it makes me happy and is kind of like therapy to me.

My favorite books right now are Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. Also The Host by Stephenie Meyer. If I could EVER write half as good as she does then I know I've achieved greatness. I also really like Harry Potter and am partial to a lot of Young Adult genre novels. I really like Sarah Dessen. I also really liked Meg Cabot's Mediator series. I have also always had a thing for Lurlene McDaniel's novels. You gotta love tragic stories about teens with terminal illnesses who are in love, right? When I really started to get into reading in my middle school days her books were some of the first books I really latched on to. As far as classic literature goes I am extremely partial to one Mr. Edgar Allan Poe and one Mr. William Shakespeare. Their writing is beautiful, tragic, and romantic...both on completely different levels, but still so intriguing and amazing on both counts.

I had sworn off writing for a few years and have just recently got back into it. It's a slow process, but it's something I have always loved to do and I am going to do what I love no matter who tells me I shouldn't. I started First Love, in August of 2007. This is the most personal project I have ever done and it's really hard to write. I am taking it very slow, but I will finish it sometime. I need it to be just right though. I do other writing at fanfiction.net. In fact that is really where I post the majority of what I work on and my fanfiction is normally what I crank out faster and work on more. I work in the Batman Begins/ Dark Knight section and I write about Heath Ledger's version of the Joker. I've been obsessed with Batman and the Joker since I first saw 1989's Batman when I was four years old, but Ledger's performance totally blew me away and opened up a huge door for amazing potential for fics and character exploration.
