'Ello.
I'm Terras1fan, more commonly known as Terra.
Tidbits: I'm frightfully serious about improving my work but I'm awfully nice about receiving criticism. I love God, and I hate ignorance. I strive for honesty, and I respect intelligence. I love it when I can explain something in a beautiful way. I refuse to listen to music that isn't Christian, and I despise smoking, alcohol and drugs. I don't hold back my feelings, and I have been known to offend. I have crazy emotions that are heightened when I am stressed and tired. I care for people that I have known for only five minutes, and I cry over my most bitter enemies. I won't live in fear, and I will take risks to save what I know is worth saving.
Appearance: If my features some how attest my character, then you should probably be informed that I am a short, blue-eyed redhead. Plus, I have several freckles and "reddish" pale skin.
Character: Unexplainably weird. If you want to know who I am, then look up enneagram type four. You'll get my strange quirkiness and abnormal attitude that most consider refreshing (like a refreshment!).
I'll update when I can. Message me, comment me, review me, hate me, or more importantly, love me. I'll be around available to read or critique anytime.

Update 6/27/08:
Okay, at this point in time it is midsummer for me. I have chapter six posted for SWK, and I'm booking it the best that I can to finish it. I plan out near 30 chapters. So yeah, again, I am booking it to finish. I am thinking the end of August though, if I must be realistic, but I'm an artist - we aren't very realistic. Anyways, I'm online and always willing to read (and really, really, really wanting to). So, whatcha waiting for? Send me something.
Update 4/4/08:
I have been a horrible person, and thus, I have not posted anything new in months. I do not give up stories, but I do not have much going creatively for my two stories right now. I have one being written currently, so I'm going to start posting the chapters for it. I am not promising often updates currently, but during the summer, I promise a lot of action. I always have a ton of free time, so I can spend my time writting like a mad woman. I already promised to myself that Something Worth Knowing will be finished by the end of summer, and it will be.
Message me, and I'll talk to you. I give advice freely.

Story Ideas In Progress (S.I.I.P.): Tell me if you like any of these ideas, because if I get enough prompt from others, I'll get more motivation to work out the kinks.
1. Wishing Well: a story about a wishing well where two people wish for something great, but instead of getting what they want, they get what the other wants. It's about twisted fates.
2. 1,001 Nights: this would be based loosely off of the old tale about the king who get married and then killed his wife the next day, but one night he gets told a story by his new wife. When morning comes though, his wife doesn't end up finishing the story so the king spares her life so he can hear the rest of the story the following night. So on and so forth, but with a twist, though I haven't discovered my own twist yet.
3. Two Gays and a Girl: this would be based off of the summers spent with my two gay cousins. As a Christian, this would prolly divulge more into my views and opinions, besides it would not be a romance more of a drama/comedy.
4. Dreams and Dragons: a story that relates to a horrible dream that I had, but, of course, I fluffed the dream and played with the idea of dragons and then elves. So, this is a fantasy/romance with incredible potential but also a lot of effort. I won't start posting this until I'm sure everything is set up perfectly.
5. Mob: this is a mob story about a girl placed in the mafia when she was young. She was noted for her natural affinity with knives because of her life on the street. It's set in Russia, possibly not this time and more Soviet Union, though it is more than likely that it will stay in normal time.
6. Sign Language: a princess who refuses/can't speak because of a spell sort of a spin off of the princess who couldn't laugh. This is really basic and raw, because I have no other ideas for it.
7. Peace Treaty: again a princess story, but this is more of a honor and braveheart feel to what I am thinking. The princess must marry the king/prince of the country that it is warring with in order to ensure that the peace treaty that both sides signed stays. I have almost officially named the princess Helena, but she wouldn't be a Helena of Troy and I don't want her associated with that story at all. I'll consider this though, it could end up being my NaNoWriMo story.
8. My Grandmother's Necklace: this is a very complicated story that will end up having several, several historical references. It can be read by non-historical loving readers, but if you love history, you'd love this story. It'd be about a society of women with necklaces, a symbol and power. It'll be about strength, mystery and intrigue, but above all, it bases itself on the fact that behind every strong man is an equally strong woman. It will be about a society of woman through history that have influenced and changed the world - think Queen Victoria, Joan of Arc, Amazon Warriors and whatnot. In fact, it's quite a feministic sounding story, but it will also divulge into a woman's weakness and where her place on the battlefield should truly be. It kinda has a similiar quality to "A Great and Terrible Beauty" by Libba Bray.
9. Pandora's Book: a story based off of Pandora's tale. It would be like an Indiana Jones, National Treasure, Return of the Mummy type of thing. An archealogist runs across a book hidden and reads from it, and thus, finds herself knowing some the world's greatest mysteries like JFK's murder, Roanoke and Stone Hedge. In fact, she knows just about every well-kept secret in existence, but something bad will happen with all this knowledge. This is going to highlight on our inabilities as humans to be in complete control. No dictatorship will ever work because there is no perfect man, nor will communism work because there is always going to be a corrupt person.
10. Ophelia: a story based off of Shakespeare's infamous Ophelia. She hates her name and something important will end up being revealed about it. Her mother mainly would be the important thing, because I think I'll make her adopted. This will be a romance, quirky travel through life as a high schooler, or perhaps young college student. I haven't developed where it will end and most of the important facts.
11. Aideleon: a story about an assasian with a calling card, an ace of hearts. Her name implies to a city that has been lost, like Roanoke basically (disapeared out of thin air), but when she ends up running across the ruins, the orphan finds out that her namesake and the city aren't just strange coincidental things. In fact, her life and the city happen to be very related. Also, this would be fantasy/sci-fi story, not happening in the actual world.
12. Good and Evil: this is really, really basic, but I want to write a good versus evil story; it's inner turmoil inside of man. I thought of this when I was watching Avatar (Prince Zuko and his Uncle), and I even have the quote, "Good and bad will always be fighting inside you; it is your nature."
13. The Queen of Advice: this is based upon the fact that I always get called upon when my friends need advice as I "always know what to say", so I wanted to make a character who was like me except way better. She will be pyschologist/counselor "go to" girl. I haven't decided any other characters; however, I do know that the story will revolve around how is being approached with an issue she has never had to deal with before. It'll be a romance, but not complete romance, I'm thinking comedy will be part of it.
14. The Power of a Glass Slipper: this is based off of a poem I wrote for English class. It's a Cinderella story (I know, kill me) but tragedies of all tragedies, Cinderella at the ball and the simple servant girl alas are NOT the same girl. However, the (ridiculous) prince wasn't paying attention and married the first girl who the shoe fit. There will be a lot of plot twisting/idea tossing for this story. Cinderella was not my favorite princess, and most of the re-telling stories drive me crazy anyways.
15. Fairy King: this would prolly be the most romance any of my other stories have been given. It is meant to be a . . . sweet fantasy story. Fairies are the curious and pleasure-seeking people, so this story will be about love, festivals, challenges and maybe, just for the sake of my darker side, a little pain (a war, possibly?). Anyways, this would be surrounding a girl who discovers she is half fairy when on the full moon she hears music and is calling (or dragged, if you prefer) to the forest. This is where she discovers that if she wants to continue being a fairy, she must marry another fairy (as she is 18, marrying age for the fairy females). If she chooses to not be a fairy, she must leave, and her memories of the fairies will be stripped from her forever. Yeah, and I have a bunch of other things for this story. The fairies are a civilization, and boy, have I written their history. o.o
16. The Mysterious School: this is about a girl who moves to a new town only to discover that the place is weird, as in something is off, big time. Major plot twists, suspense and whatnot. I want to emit a creepy and eerie feel to this town, and I know I can. It would be written first person (as the mini-first person summary shows), and really, the girl is based a lot off of me. I'm not in love with myself; I just like playing Nancy Drew myself.
"I was the new girl, and this was not my home. This was a new town and a new school – completely different than any of my previous residences. A girl like me is the socially retarded, but even if I desired a friend, I highly doubt that this place would grant me one. The school had a sinister feel, and the students were shallow and typical. The teachers taught without giving a second glance to wise guys with the jokes or the rebels with the attitude. The town had a secret, and I wanted to know what it was. I was going to play detective and solve this mystery – no matter what the consequences."
Protection:
No, I did not steal any other writer's plotline whether it be a published writer, non-published writer, movie plot, song lyrics or anything else that could end up sueing me as a "plagiarist". Yes, I do base stuff off of written quotes, lyrics, ideas and fantasy poems/stories/movies, but by basing something I mean that I take what gave me "chills," and I flip it inside and out, backwards, forwards, up side down, and study it indepth - then I work on a story using the inspiration and knowledge gained from this study. So I am not stealing in any way, I'm admiring someone's work and creating my own jewel from the inspiration they gave me.
However, if I do use a popular name brand anywhere from crazy stuff like Avril Lavigne "Girlfriend" to Walmart to an Ipod. I give all credit to the makers of said things. I claim the plotline, the characters, the title and all other such things. Also, I claim my above S.I.I.P. stories. Do not touch them.
