Hello. Okay so my name is Bittersweetloss and I LOVE to write. I love to write poetry and stories. I hope to someday become a published author, which, with any luck, will happen before I graduate highschool. I'm going to be a junior this year sigh. I also like to draw, though I'm not to good. But I'm getting there.
Okay, so you guys will most likely only be getting the poems that I write. Most of which were written when I was feeling nothing but despair, though I am a generally happy person. Sort of. Except for when I don't get enough sleep. Like now.
I hate jerks. I hate people who care nothing about the feelings of other people. Normal humans have feelings and a conscience and aren't mean just because they can be. I have no tolerance for people like that and if that makes me a hypocrite then so be it! And I'm warning you all now, if you're a jerk to me (depending of the degree of jerkiness) I may or may not let it slide. But I have friends on this site and if you're cruel to them, then you're going to get an earful from me. I don't tolerate bullying and I'm protective of those who are most important in my life.
You know, none of you know me. You don't know what drives me to write, and you don't know what I've been through, so I guess that I should start putting it on every poem that I post, but I don't want your critsism. And if you are a TRUE writer, then you understand why. Because when you write a poem, a lot more goes into it than just words. And I think that the only pathetic human-beings are the ones that feel the need to tear people down. And if what I just wrote offends you then to bad, because you probably just offended me.
Okay, you know what? I don't give a crap if you don't like my poetry. But I don't really need to know that you don't like it, do I? It's a waste of both of our time. For you to write the crappy review and for me to read it. So please, use some common sense. Not everyone welcomes flames.
I write poetry when I feel something deeply.
Just because I post something of mine up here, doesn't mean that it's fair game for flames. And don't tell me that my poetry sucks, just because it's not the style of poetry that you don't like. I do not like Robert Frost, Edger Allen Poe, or Emily Dickinson. I do not like that type of poetry. But I do like Jack Prelutsky. He is probably my favorite poet. So obviously the style of my poetry is going to come out like his.
