So, I've got all these ideas in my head.
I've got a pen to put to paper.
Eyes to watch each word drip from the tip.
To find a writer's Nirvana; an escape from reality.
This world, I'll create. These people, I'll make.
Dialogue in my head will be said, screamed, shouted-
Whispered, yelled, spat, and asked.
I'll put trees in the place of buildings,
And lakes instead of factories.
Only to manipulate the land when the setting-
Just doesn't seem fit anymore.
I'm a writer. I'm a god, sculpting a universe.
I'm a mother of characters who control me,
Not the other way around.
I'll write to calm the voices in my head.
To send a message to the masses.
To put a smile on my face.
I've got all these ideas in my head.
