Hey, I'm Kat. I am truly a 'girlinlove' and I get the most inspiring story ideas on the bus rides home from school.
I finally finished "The Hardest Part of Love is the Letting Go" and I'm editing it now, because after I printed it out, I realized how many mistakes are in it.
If the book would ever be made into a movie, here are the people who I think would fit the physical traits of the characters
Malina Beck-Amber Tamblyn
Jake Harriman-Jesse McCartney
Mel Jones-Mandy Moore
David Gossem-Nick Jonas
Maella Watson-Mandy Moore
Scott Freeman-Shane West
Jean Baxter-Meryl Streep
Carson Welch-Daniel Radcliffe
Those aren't all of the people, but they are the only ones that I have had time to look at.
Any other ideas for actors/actresses who could play characters? Any and all suggestions are welcome!
Drama and Drumsticks:
I'm glad that people are taking a liking to this story. Sometimes, its hard to go back in between personas and different people, but I like the challange. And, surprisingly, I have found that I enjoy writing from a boy's point of view. Which is ironic, I know, because I'm, well, kinda, a girl.
The Hardest Part of Love is the Letting Go:
The idea of changing people and creating different mindsets started with this story. And the fact that all three of these girls were so different; it was a definite challange figuring out how each of the girls would react to certain things. And when you throw in their 3 boys, overprotective parents, and an unloving mother who gave up her children, and there is a ton of stuff happening in the plot. It was definetely difficult at times to keep up with all the characters at once. But it was an adventure.
In Whatever Time We Have:
I'm hoping people will enjoy this sequel. I haven't been working on it much, but it will elaborate on the characters from HPL (see the story above this). And there won't be as many characters in this book. Instead, there will be more self-exploration and self-realization.
