Hello, all... I am Runningflame. I joined FictionPress because I am lately becoming very interested in writing, and because my friend Spirithunter is also here. (Salve, amica Spirithunter!) I write on a wide variety of topics... from long fantasy poems, to short, memoir-style pieces, to that short story that I really need to get around to editing... Come, R&R--but above all, enjoy. That is fiction's primary purpose: to be read and enjoyed. :-D

Movies (animated): The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Toy Story I and II (sense a theme here?), Monsters Inc., Hoodwinked, The Lion King, 101 Dalmations (lol)
Movies (live-action): LotR, Star Wars, and Spiderman movies, Facing the Giants, Amazing Grace, The Ultimate Gift
TV shows: Doctor Who, Reba
Hobbies: Writing, bike-riding, Tae Kwon Do, computer programming, enthusing (about various things)
Things to draw: Cats. That's basically it for me. And I'm not the best at it, either...
Food: Rhubarb custard pie!
Pet: Pixie, my two-and-a half-year-old tabby. Her favorite hobbies are sleeping (but of course), chattering at birds, chasing strings, and eating flies and crickets. ~_~
Languages: Eh... probably a tie between English, Latin, and Tolkein's Elvish (although I'm nowhere near fluent in Latin and know very little Elvish)
Things not to do: Killing spiders... shudder
Mythical creatures: Fairies, actually... but also dragons, as you'll see in my poetry. Then there's the magical mouse-rabbit cross I made up, known as a mabbit... ;-D
In the works:
Murphy's Law--The old saw seems particularly true in the case of a young, inner-city baseball player who just has to make it to tryouts... Needs some pretty comprehensive editing.
