First and foremost, Vennela is a name that means 'moonlight.'
Professional Notes:
I
absolutely love fiction! To escape into another world is a prized
experience for me. To give birth to a world is infinitely better. I
love it! But right now, the giving birth to new worlds has to take a
break because of the serious writer's block. Because my fingers refuse
to stop typing, I decided to escape the modern times for a while and
travel into ancient times, where magic was real and adventure can be
found everywhere. I hope the stories I've written and the possibilities
I've explored fascinate you as much as they fascinated me.
Warning: My stories may not be orthodox.
I hate author's notes in a story.
Imagine you're reading something like this: I looked down the cliff to
see the stormy sea down below. Tears ran down my cheeks as I made up my
mind to jump to my own imminent death. The wind and the thunder seemed
to warn me, but I paid them no mind. I jumped. (A/N OMG! Imagine the fear that the person might be going through... OMG! OMG!) Well, no duh, person!
So if you guys want to know the newest stuff, come see my profile,
because when you click the links to my stories, you get purely tales.
1.) News:
Magnificent is up.
The Seeds of Death is up. Persephone, the daughter of
the nature goddess, Demeter, is abducted by Hades, the Lord of the
Underworld. He forces her into marriage. Persephone vaguely remembers
her mother telling her not to eat anything from the Underworld, but
driven by hunger, she eats six seeds of a pomegranate. The cost?
Staying in the Underworld with her cold husband for six months of the
year and spends the other six months with her mother. The story of a
frightened girl in the coldest world on Earth. But in that cold world,
Persephone catches a glimpse of warmth... This is the first story I've
written for FictionPress. I'm excited! For more info on Persephone: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persephone.
Scheherazade
This is Scheherazade's POV of the Arabian Nights. According to legend,
King Shahryar is betrayed by his beloved first wife. Driven mad by this
treachery, he decides that all women, in the end, will
betray him. With this conclusion, he marries a virgin a day and after
spending a night with her, in the morning, he beheads her. Fate has
Scheherazade, the beautiful and clever daughter (who happens to have a
knack for storytelling)
of the King's vizier, volunteers freely to be the next wife of King
Shahryar. On their night together, Scheherazade's younger sister,
Dunyazad, knocks on the door to spend the final moments of her sister
with her. She asks Scheherazade to tell one of her famous tales.
Scheherazade agrees and the King consents, curious. Scheherazade starts
narrating a tale and JUST HAPPENS to end with a cliffhanger on the
first night. When the King asks her to continue, she shakes her head,
insisting that dawn is breaking and the mood needed for storytelling is
broken. The King reluctantly agrees to give Scheherazade another night
to finish her tale. The next night, Scheherazade holds true to her word
and ends the first story, but cleverly, she weaves the ending of the
first story and the beginning of the second story together without the
King knowing. Even on the second night, she ends with a cliffhanger.
The King once again gives her another night to finish. This goes on for
about three years, more specifically, a thousand and one nights. Her stories, which include Aladdin and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, are her only weapons. This
is the love story between a doomed storyteller and her insane husband
who needs, but does not want, the end of her.
Need I say I am excited to be Scheherazade in this story? For more info

3.)
Please know that I am VERY picky and the perfectionist of
perfectionists. It gets me into a lot of trouble with my stories, but...
4.) Note that all my works are based off of MY
OPINION. So if my version and your version do not blend in nicely,
don't chop my head off. I apologize for any hurt feelings and other
'injuries'.
5.) I write Twilight Fanfiction. Here is a link to my account in FanFiction.Net: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1309500/your_vennela.
