I am a college graduate who has always loved to write stories and poetry since I was about 12. Now that I've been in college for a while, I have some time to write the stories that have been swirling around in my head all of these years. I also took my very first creative writing course while at college, so now I have more reason to write my stories.

I have 4 stories that people can read, so far:

Marco and Gwen: I wrote this story when I was 12. My first attempt at writing a story. When I looked back at it, I was too horrified by all of the grammar mistakes and lack of plot to fix it until now. Please read, this story is one I really want reviews on.

Alegria: A different genre than what I am used to writing. I wrote it because my friend needed a story to edit for her Publishing class. The first chapter took me about 2 or 3 hours to write. My friend got an A and I got an interesting story line to play with.

Leila: A story set in the 1920s. I started this story based on a couple of ideas I had while in high school. I started writing this when I was 16 and have just barely finished it, but this is yet another story that I REALLY want reviews on. This is my most complete story so far.

Dartmouth Vampires: Another story that came from a college class. A story that began simmering when I read Dracula for class and read Twilight on a whim. The original story was a final project for my class that just sorta grew into its own story. It is based around a 23 year old woman at Dartmouth College who meets a new student with an odd curiosity for all things vampire. When someone begins attacking the campus, things start to get peculiar for her as she finds out the truth about both him and herself.

Some of my favorite fiction books are: A Wrinkle In Time (the whole series), The Game, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, The Tennis Shoes Series, The Secret Life of Bees, etc.

I am a big fan of music, I like all kinds except for maybe hard rock and rap. Some of my favorite artists are Kelly Clarkson, Lifehouse, Nickelback, Nickel Creek, KT Tunstall, S Club 7, Michelle Branch, Natasha Bedingfield, Miri Ben-Ari, the list could go on and on. I enjoy making music lists for my stories, which always explain my stories a lot better than any summary. Also, Nickelback's 'If Everyone Cared' is amazing!! I love the song and the music video. It always makes me want to go out and do some kind of service for others.

I also love food. I spent all four years of high school in Culinary Arts classes. I love to cook and bake and try new food. Right now, I absolutely love anything Asian, sushi, curry, Cantonese styled cooking,etc. I also enjoy Middle Eastern food, Greek food, small town Americana food, European chocolate...

One of my big goals in life is to travel the world and learn about new cultures. At the moment, I am in China where I help teach English and am in love with the people and the language. One day, I plan to get into a good graduate program, but for now... China!
