About Me: I studied abroad in Japan for one year and it was the best year of my life. I love, love, love traveling and experiencing other cultures. I'm not big on staying in one place for too long, when I know I could be moving around and making new friends in new places (while keeping the old, of course). I love being around people of any country or culture and hopefully, one day, I'll have the money that will permit me to roam around the world. I love films and books; anything that tells a story and allows you to be put into someone else's shoes for however long it may be.

The Memory of Home: A terrifying epidemic is quickly spreading across the United States, and Noah barely escapes with his life after the virus attacks those closest to him. In a time when death is imminent and the only necessity is survival, friendship and love unexpectedly finds a way to sneak into Noah’s life and help him cope with the destruction of the land he used to call home.

Author's Note: I can't believe I'm writing again. This was my fifth year in a writer's block, however, an idea came the other day (notably, after I saw Zombieland) and I was getting into my car at about midnight to go home and there was nobody around me. I thought about what it would be like if I saw a 28 Days Later-esque zombie sprinting towards me, what I would do consequently, and my reaction once I was safe, in my car, and driving away. :) Thus, The Memory of Home popped into my mind, and it was tough to get it started, but once I did, I wrote the prologue pretty easily. I understand that it won't be the greatest writing on Fiction Press because I haven't really written anything in years, but I've edited it over and over again, and I am certainly appreciative of criticism, whether you choose to review or not. But as always, reviews are much appreciated and I hope to hear from you!!
