Hello all, my name is Emily and I'm currently sixteen. I guess you could say I'm an aspiring writer. I don't really know what to put here so I'm just going to list the things I like so hopefully you can find something in common with your own interests/likes/etc. and if not, then at least you know a bit more about me.
Ballet- I love ballet, it is my favorite thing in the world and I have been dancing for eleven years. If it were more practical/possible I would become a professional ballerina.
Piano- I have played the piano for eight years and I enjoy it, but not as much as ballet. I love music; I mostly love classical (my fave composer is Chopin) and alternative rock (The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, etc.) but I listen to pretty much everything except for maybe country.
Cats- They're my favorite animals. I have a cat named Chloe who is also one of my favorite things in the world.
Marie Antoinette- Sort of an obsession. Not in a weird, creepy way or anything- I just genuinely feel sorry for her and I really believe she's been misjudged. I've done a lot of reading on her and she wasn't the wicked queen that everyone makes her out to be.
Ancient Egypt- I love history in general and this is maybe my favorite historical period- I've written a lot of failed stories/novels about it that I'm considering revamping. I don't even know why I like it, or started liking it. I just think it's really cool. :)
Pirates- Who doesn't like pirates?
Singing- I'm in the choir at my school and I've been in many musicals, which are lots of fun. My favorite musical is Phantom of the Opera, though I'm sheepish to admit it because it's become such a fangirl thing and I hate being just one of the mob... but you have to admit, it has a great story and the score is amazing. I also like Fiddler on the Roof, Peter Pan, Brigadoon, Carousel, Oliver, and many more.
Drawing/Artwork- Until recently, drawing's kinda been a closet hobby of mine but I'm starting to take more of an interest in it. Can't say whether I'm any good or not though...
Reading/Writing- This one should be self-explanatory, at least I would hope so... ;) I hope you enjoy my work, when I get it uploaded.
