About me: Hey there, the name's Cherry and I've been writing for a while now. I am still in school, and currently attend a West-Coast school. Whether I live there or not is a mystery...Anyway, I love school, especially Physics and Math. I love my friends and family, and often I use the people I know in my stories. So if you think I used you as a model for a character, you're probably right. Don't worry! None of you die...yet.
Writing and Me: My writing has only really gotten good in the past two years, when I started actually writing a story and getting more than twenty pages of it written down. In those past two years, I've completed a number of short stories, two of which placed in online contests. One of those is When Love is Blind. You can read it any time. I'm not going to say I've finished any novellas or novels, because even though I've competed in NaNoWriMo 2007 and finished, I'm not proud of it at all. I've also pretty much finished Thief of the Heart, more commonly known to my non-Fiction Press friends as Starfall. Currently, the main plot of Starfall is completed, but I'm supposedly doing bonus chapters, so look out for those! A lot of the time I start a story, and never finish it. That's the procrastinator in me. Get used to it.
As for my writing style, the best way to find that out is to look at Thief of the Heart or When Love is Blind and you'll get a glance at how I write. Because the best way I can put it is: sappy romance scenes with a dash of action and a spritz of fantasy. Unfortunately, my poor soul has not yet experienced love or anything, so I'm just going on pure knowledge and on what other people say. So don't expect me to be able to relate to my characters in that area.
To my real life friends: Hello again! Somehow you got to my FP profile, and I may not know how you got here, but I do know how you're leaving. In the dark. Without a clue of how I write or the kind of reviews I get for my writing. Okay, fine. Stay if you wish. Read some of my stories. Go ahead, have fun, who's gonna stop you...
Yes, I beta! Oh wait, what's this? Sorry, folks, but I'm not accepting beta requests until March 10. I have homework. And a school trip to go on, too. Plus, I already have a few requests that I need to complete already, and I don't need any more!
