Author has written 11 stories for Family, Love, General, and Life. Hi. My name is Brittany. I am 17 years old and hopelessly in love with a certain someone. My dream is to go to college at NYU and get my major in English while becoming a somewhat known poet. I have already had 1 poem published in a book. It was called A Celebration of Young Poets. It was really something that I wanted so I wrote the poem and sent it to the contest and got blessed. I am a Christian but my boyfriend is Catholic so that's sort of interesting. I hope to go to school to be a writer/English teacher and possibly a chef. I'll be graduating this year so those dreams can be taken more seriously. The best advice I can give you is #1 Write about things that interest you and what you know about and #2 Don't write for other people. Write because you love it and don't get discouraged.
