Though my username is fourtissimo, you are free to call me any common nickname: Tissi, Coppelia, Coppy, Martyr, Sabs, or even my real name, Julia (or the nickname of that, Jules).

Let's see. I've been writing since God Knows How Long, because apparently, instead of grounding me, my mother used to punish me by taking away my writing journal/pencil before I can even remember. (I used to say definitively that I've been writing since third grade, but I suppose it's even longer now). In any case, you can imagine I like to write a lot, but the process itself is very difficult. I struggle with it often. I hope the works I post here are a nice enough read!

I take a lot of influences from a huge range of media, anything from TV, movies, video games, graphic novels, web novels, and books. Some of my favorite genres, however, consist of film noir or neo-noir, psycho-noir, crime, fantasy, and action. Surprisingly, my favorite characters to work with are feral, though I believe I write them as rather unconventional compared to, say, Brian Jacques or Richard Adams.

Also, some of my favorite, specific TV shows/movies/whatnot are The Big O (God, that series is excellent), Princess Tutu, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, the works of Ray Bradbury, and various Shakespeare.

Last but not least, I do a bit of everything in terms of creativity: painting, drawing, art in general, glass-blowing, writing (of course), poetry, minimal playing of the alto saxophone...and a few other things I'm sure I forgot.
