Hah! Kayla... I may just steal your format =P
Gender: Gay man trapped in the body of a woman.
Age: 18.
Writing: A few months ago I would have classified myself as a fantasy writer, but as of Spring break I succumbed to a horrible disease. Fluff. It's easy and fun to write and so it has been my focus-the fantasy has been on hold until the sickness pass. For those of you who may think that you are catching what is known as 'The Fluff' please, please, take heed of the symptoms:
1) Ability to go 'aww' at almost anything.
2) Attraction to things that are: pink, cute,not so straight.
3) Desire to run naked everywhere.
3) Running naked everywhere.
You too could be coming down with 'The Fluff'. I enjoy writing fantasy as it takes in depth descriptions, a twisting plot of doom and characters of different species, powers, histories and futures influenced by magic and mystery. But I also love fluff as it's cute, fun and full of angst.
Currently working on:
Etherworld: After the intense six year process of making everything perfect, developing characters to the point I can slip into their personalities on the drop of a dime which would be nice, please, give me dimes. I'm a petty starving artist =P and creating a world with every place in it I have finally gotten to the place where I am ready to finish it... and start it. But mostly finish it. This is an endeavor between me and Laura. Laura is a co-author, half of the characters belong to her. I do editing and a good deal of the writing. Etherworld follows the lifelines of Hiei Harlotte-Quinne. A deamon species in Etherworld. ((=See Etherworld =)) who is escaping an old master with lazy indifference, Tybalt Kelek A deamon who must choose between free will, and duty. Markus Tekari, a dragon beast working under the reins of a magistrate run by Jareth. A man who has ideals for Etherworld that start with taking the strength from deamons who are by nature a violent race wreaking havoc in their lives. To do this he must use the blood from a man who carries an enzyme from a long lost bloodline that will cut deamons from their anger and power. Unfortunately he lives across the gap between Etherworld and the Mortal world and must be extricated from his humdrum life. Many more characters are woven into a story where each of them must come to a single conclusion in the end.
Of Clockwork and Wax: This one is a new one. I have been denying its creation for about some time and it's finally permeated my brain to the point where I have to finish it. Damn you Hansynne!
Hansynne- griiiiin
This story follows the lives of two Slayers and their duty to a world which takes front over all else. Even love. Hansynne and Abcinth, two slayers bound by partnership which causes them more trouble than anything else, take their vows as slayers and are tumbled head over heels into the war in Europe, raging between the undead vampires and the living. There is an unlimited supply of food and troops for the vampires, and the number of slayers is dwindling by the day in the confrontations. It is the least of their worries that something far more dreadful has risen from the ground to stalk them and in the end, what will reign over them? Duty. Or love? Will Hansynne kill Abcinth if she dies-only to be raised again? Or will love conquest duty?
Why City Boys Don't Wear Pink Skirts: Okay... uh. Don't ask. This was brought along by two o'clock in the morning urges to write. And, the fact that I don't uh-yeah I think everything is funny at two in the morning and seeing as the people I've shown it to think it's funny I've decided to continue to write it and fuel myself on coffee. It's my first attempt at a fluff and normalcy after being inspired by Error-Author and her boy love. It's apparently a hit and is nearly completed.
