Author has written 6 stories for General, Love, Life, and Fantasy. "Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind/ And so is wing'd Cupid painted blind/ Nor hath love's mind of any judgment taste/ Wings and no eyes figure unheedy haste/ And therefore love is said to be a child/ Because in that choice he is so oft beguil'd" --Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream-- Note: Just as a general sort of comment on the site, I'd like to express my deep disappointment in what I guess we all know as something along the lines of the Great Plagiarism Fiasco of '08-'09. Many of my favorite authors have removed their stories from the site and gone on to LiveJournal, which I find sad. I'd like to see FP clean up its act, and I hope everyone's learned a lesson. I'm still writing on FP because: 1.) I'm not so famous that anybody would ever plagiarize me, and 2.) I have faith that people can change, and that the site can start afresh. So! I'm here, and I'm still writing, and I hope y'all will do the same! 11-13-09: I've removed my previous stories and poetry for various reasons...largely because I think they were childish and written horribly, but I've taken up writing again! I've posted the first chapter in Life, Suburbia, and Everything (awful working title), which I plan to be a collection of short stories centering around...you guessed it! The suburbs! I know it sounds incredibly boring, but I'm hoping it's not like that after you read it. x_x Please be respectful of the characters and stories, because many of the things I'll be writing about have happened to me and the people I know and love. I'll update sporadically, whenever inspiration strikes for a new story. 11-13-09: I'm always open to criticism and suggestion, so drop me a line and I'll be sure to respond! 11-14-09: Two new poems, The Vine and I and I Am Flame. I'm feeling oddly prolific. 11-15-09: I've just posted two poems, Chasm, and Stars, which are actually the only two poems that survived my purge of past material (though I like Stars much more than Chasm), as they don't entirely suck. I don't remember if I ended up posting them on FP or not, so if you've seen one before, that's likely the reason for it. :D 01-23-10:My new story, The Hero, was posted today with a prologue and the first chapter. It will be followed by a companion story, to be called The Villain. I have these two stories planned out to the very end, and I'm very confident that I'll be finishing them, especially given my excitement over them. They're a meld of historical, suspense, and fantasy fiction genres, with a bit of romance thrown in for interest, and I hope you like them as much as I do! You can probably count on updates ever week to week-and-a-half, or if I'm especially excited about it (or just have nothing else to do with my time), then maybe even sooner. | |||||||
