Author has written 2 stories for Horror. 12.07.08// I've added chapter fifteen. Enjoy, as I hope you do. Before we get into introductions, I'll warn you that it takes a strong mind to read what I write. For those who are faint of heart, I am asking you politely to pick yourself up, and move on. With that being said, you may all call me Ash, which is my real name seeing as I'm am still working on a pseudonym. As a virtual perfectionist, I go over my work hundreds of times through, doing what all perfectionists do: perfecting. Which is why you might come across something that seems out of place, or perhaps a new scene to an old chapter. Sometimes ideas get boring, and I exchange them for something fresh. I wrote my first novel while still under the impression that boys had cooties. By eight, I was reading at an eleventh and twelth grade level. I went on to write poetry, which, if I do say so myself, was nicely referred to as mediocre in quality. It's a bad day when I come across an old notebook with either of these types of writing. Most of what I wrote from thence forward were horendous imitations of works already completed, gotten 3K words through, and then, after the initial excitement of a good read wore off, discarded into an unhappy pile. I have gotten better, though, and can promise that reading my posts will be worth your time. As a side note, I get terribly offended when my work is compared to anything by Stephenie Meyer. So please, don't do it. I have an overactive imagination. You'll find below a lovely mixture of Horror/Romance/Dark Fantasy/Suspense. I like to keep my readers on their toes. Also prepare for some adult content, such as rape, murder, cannibalism, violence, cursing, etc. As of now, I have nothing posted thus far that would be extremely offensive, but that doesn't say I won't do so in the future. I usually title my work with one word, but they're often not the actual title that I plan on sticking with. I do this because it is convenient, and I don't believe you can accurately title something without having finished the work itself. But that is just my own opinion, and with that being said, the titles of my stories are subject to change. | |||||||||
1. Monstrous Butterfly reviewsHe stepped toward me, his eyes burning. "If a butterfly were to feast upon a catterpillar, would it be considered cannibalism?" I couldn't breathe. I couldn't think. I couldn't look away. "You see," he whispered... "You see." And I did.Horror - Fiction Rated: T - English - Romance/Supernatural - Chapters: 1 - Words: 118 - Reviews: 62 - Updated: 12-7-08 - Published: 1-18-082.
