That lil' black mage on your left is without a doubt my favorite video game character ever.

Ahem. Why Vivi, you ask? Because he embodies the childlike wonder every one of us carries deep inside - but unlike most of us, he is totally unafraid of wearing that naivete on his proverbial sleeve. It's his very way of life. Final Fantasy IX entertained me, to be sure. But Vivi moved me. And let me tell you, that kind of experience doesn't come along every other day.

I try to distill that same childlike wonder in my writing, and I hope you see it when you read my stories. I'm just getting started here on Fictionpress, obviously, but I hope you'll quickly come to treat me like one of your own. Except when it comes to reviews, of course. There you can be as unrelentingly critical as you like!

Who am I, you ask? A college sophomore with a pretty crazy schedule, and a somewhat less crazy after-school schedule. But still crazy! Not much else to say about me that's especially relevant to my writing, but maybe I'll open up a bit more in future. Anyway, craziness aside, I'll shift my schedule around all day long until I have the time to update a story. And I'm a pretty good schedule-juggler, if I do say so myself.

UPDATES: I was thinking of doing so weekly but because this is so new to me, I've kinda been seized by writing fever! I'm cranking out material at a fairly brisk pace, so for now, at least, I'll be posting new chapters as soon as I finish the next next one, so that I have a few days of leeway if I get tired of writing for some reason. (i.e. I'll post Chapter 10 as soon as I finish writing Chapter 11.) We'll see how long that lasts. . . .
