Author has written 7 stories for General, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and General.

Hey, y'all in cyberspace! My name's Therese Delacoeur (or Rosesandsand). I really like writing (obviously) and I'm looking for a place to get constructive criticism and feedback for my work.  I recently got asked to go to an interview for the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts for Creative Writing using a modified version of a story I posted here.  The original is "Guardian Angel" and the one that I sent to Governor's School is "Only For You." You can see how similar they are, but I think the second is better.  Tell me what you think!

Some not-really-important-facts-but-kinda-fun-anyway:

I was born in Raleigh, NC, but moved north when my dad took a job at a camp. He's now an entrepreneur, a private civil engineer specializing in work for camps.

I like chocolate. A lot. My favorite candy bar would have to be 100 Grand, though the Hershey original takes a close second.

My favorite authors are Anne McCaffery (Dragonriders of Pern), Tamora Pierce (READ HER! The Lionness Quartet, the Immortals, The Protector of the Small, the Tricksters books, the Circle of Magic series, the Circle Opens series + The Will of the Empress), Garth Nix (Shade's Children is absolute genius), Nicolas Sparks (A Walk to Remember), Stephenie Meyer (Twilight & Co., it's an ongoing-thing), Robin McKinley (CLASSIC), and anything published by Firebird Publishers.

I can play the flute, and compose some stuff.

I've written since third grade, when I was having trouble coming up with names for characters for my (since discontinued) story and put a sign up sheet in my classroom so my friends could sign up for the characters they wanted to be.

I like reviewing my favorite stories, so please, if I review, don't hate me or anything. It means I really liked it and wanted to rave and help. Grammar errors will also force me to crit... Anyway, I'm trying my best to be constructive, so again, don't kill me with anger. I'm really trying.

See ya' soon! Thanks for reading this ramble.

~Therese
