Author has written 142 stories for Love, War, Life, Haiku, Family, Supernatural, Politics, Song, Religion, General, Horror, Humor, Friendship, Thriller, Nature, Historical, School, and Essay. To start off, my literary idol is Edgar Allen Poe, but sometimes I like to call him Eddy Al P. for short! He was a master with macabre and he constantly pushed the envelope, much as I hope to do with my poetry and passion. Close in second, or maybe even tied, is Serj Tankian of System of a Down! I love his solo work and his poetry is amazing! Also, I love to review and critique (Don't worry, I’m a nice and honest critique), and so if you need someone to care and read your works, I'll do it! All of 'em if you so wish! Also, I won't give you generic crap ("Great poem!" End review) I'll give you some love, trust me! I recently invented a new form of writing poetry and I call it “Short-shorts”! Shorty-shorts are like haikus, in that they are very short, but everything else couldn’t be more different. My Shorty-shorts are very liberal compared to the haiku (One reason I started them) but I think can be just as meaningful. I don’t usually care for how strict Haiku is, so I took out everything that bugged me. First off, Haiku are generally about nature and the seasons. But since I wanna write about other stuff, I just do it! Also, Haiku follows the very uniform “five syllables, seven, then five syllables again”. Shorty-shorts on the other hand have no set rhyme scheme, syllable structure or word flow. It can be one profound sentence, or it can be three about farts! That’s the fun of them for me. If you like the idea and ever use Shorty-shorts, please tell me, ‘cause I’d love to read ‘em! "Life is like a toilet, it can be full of shit! Thank God we can flush!" -Me That's how I live my life man! Even the shittiest shit we go through is not only a learning experience, but another brush stroke on this beautiful life! You may not be able to tell through some...most of my work, but I’m pretty positive and laid back. I enjoy reading (though I’m very picky as to what I'll read) and I absolutely love writing! I can't see myself doing much more than writing, working, and loving all my life! My biggest wish in life is to die of old age, and not by guns or fellow man. I have one simple goal, to love and be loved, regardless of who I become or what I do. I'm only seventeen by the way, so I have plenty of time to do it all! Art! Art freakin' rocks! All kinds of art! I love poetry, drawing, sculpting, dance, martial arts, acting, photography, music and so on and so forth! Music is a huge part of my life, I love ALL genres. The only time I don't like something musically is maybe a specific song, but never an entire group, and NEVER and entire genre. Some music artists I love are Mudvayne, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Tool, Slave to the System, Finger Eleven, Utada, Billy Joel, Billy Idol, Bob Marley, System of a Down, Scars on Broadway, Ozzy Osbourne, Godsmack, Iron Maiden, Keith Urban, Elvis, Shania Twain, Evanescence (Is that how its even spelt?), Killswitch Engage, Prototype, Cannibal Corpse, Frank Sinatra, DMX, Eminem, Fort Minor, Cypress Hill, Notorious B.I.G, Tupac, Korn, Limp Bizkit, 36 Mafia, Snow, Matisyahu, Aqualung, The Lonely Island, blah blah blah...yeah, I’m sure you very well get the picture! I draw in an Anime style, but its not really my thing like writing is. It sure is a great hobby though! I mainly draw character concepts for my stories and such, just to know the character I’m writing about better. I also draw scenes or pictures that represent a poem I’ve written, which I hope to place in a book along with my poetry! But yeah, drawing isn't a HUGE thing for me, so this little part is done. | |||||||||
