Greetings, Mend here. You may have noticed that my account's been quite inactive for the past oh, say, 6 months.
I apologize for my extended absence. I've resumed my work, but you'll have to forgive me as it may take a while for me to get back into the swing of things. Actually, I really hate that saying. "You'll have to forgive me, but..." I find it very condescending, because I really don't have to forgive you, that's just your desire.
... Sorry, this is my "readjusting".
I've been away for quite awhile (it seems like that is in a song, but I can't quite place the name). And, in the time I've been away, I've matured a lot as a writer. Or at least I'd like to think so. Obviously, it would be awkward to return to my old stories, picking up where I left off (no, I never deleted them from my computer), so it was orginaly planned that I would just have a completely fresh start.
I'm not so sure that's gonna fly with a few people.
So here's the deal: I'm reworking my old books and continuing them. They will have the same storyline and characters, but the writing style and some of the elements in the story will change. So keep an eye out for it and don't skip a chapter just because you've read it the way it was before. I might've changed my mind about something important, maybe even randomly killed off your favorite character. Point is: No skipping.
It'll take me a few days to tweak the first chapter enough to post it, so don't expect anything right away.
By the way, try visiting http://wearewhatwedo.org/index-new.php It's a good way to make a great difference (they paid me to say that!) No they didn't, I was lying. Seriously though, it's cool. So go. Or die.
Song of the week is "Suspension" by Mae.
... And ... It's good to be back.
