I'm a 17-year-old aspiring singer-songwriter. I write lyrics every day, no joke. Once in a while I'll have a stroke of brilliance and write a short story. Every couple of years or so I'll start a novel that I know I'll never finish. All in all, English is my best subject because of its flexibility. You don't have to rely on your memory alone to succeed; you can make your own connections. That's the beauty of every language's literature. You can be full of shit on your analysis but as long as you can support it you still make the cut.
My name isn't neccesarily Grace. And I'm not neccesarily an atheist. So why the penname? I was inspired by the song "Amazing Grace". Beautiful song, BUT I didn't feel it had to be about a religious experience, hence the 'godless' tacked at the end. I defined one's 'amazing grace' as a life-changing experience of any kind, and that everyone's objective in life at some point was to look for it in order to progress on a mental scale. I have no clue what my grace will be, but even if I find it, I'll still be inspired by the continual search in the eyes of others.
