Um. Wow. I haven't been in my account since, like, forever...OK, really.

Well, nothing's changed. I'm still extraordinarily busy, but - and here's the big but - I am working on some stuff. As you can probably see, I've taken down Fire & Ice, because...well, because I can't relate that story anymore. I've decided that high school stuff isn't really what I'm aiming for, so yeah.

On the bright side...I am still writing, just not on FP. I think that the recent plagiarism spike has scared away anyone who wants to be a published author sometime soon (myself not really included - I'm just writing for the fun of it).

For those who know someone whose plagiarising work: for God's sake, TELL THEM TO STOP. -.- At this rate, no one will be writing on FP anymore, and developing writers don't have a chance to receive feedback from other people to improve their writing skills. This really isn't a good thing. Tell them to write their OWN bloody stories. I mean, there is no glory in taking someone's hard work and receiving people's praise for something that YOU DIDN'T DO.

For those plagiarists out there - be ashamed. Very ashamed.

Rant over. Back to Microsoft Word.

Just like about every author in this site, I have been drowning in my schoolwork. I have about a gabillion tests coming up after the half term that I have to study for, I have essays to hand in, essays to prepare, and homework on top of that. It's been really, really crazy, and I don't think I have the time to write frequently anymore. I'd like to say that I can give readers an approximation of when I'd update, but that would be an extremely inaccurate guess - tests, homework and essays just pop up, and readers would probably find that it's been two/three months since the promised update, but to no avail.

That's the time thing. The other thing is, when I finally finish all my homework, I'm not inspired to write anymore. Let's face it, who writes well when they're exhausted? I get pissed easily, and I'll probably end up deleting the whole document before I manage to finish a single chapter.
