.Important.
(Sunday, October 26, 2008)
Just like about every author in this site, I have been drowning in my schoolwork. I have about a gabillion tests coming up after the half term that I have to study for, I have essays to hand in, essays to prepare, and homework on top of that. It's been really, really crazy, and I don't think I have the time to write frequently anymore. I'd like to say that I can give readers an approximation of when I'd update, but that would be an extremely inaccurate guess - tests, homework and essays just pop up, and readers would probably find that it's been two/three months since the promised update, but to no avail.
That's the time thing. The other thing is, when I finally finish all my homework, I'm not inspired to write anymore. Let's face it, who writes well when they're exhausted? I get pissed easily, and I'll probably end up deleting the whole document before I manage to finish a single chapter.
Of course, I'll try and do my best to update Fire & Ice (also see 'Completion of Fire & Ice' under Upcoming Projects/Aims, which is below). But sometimes, I have to say, my best probably isn't good enough.
.Update.
(Tuesday, November 4, 2008)
Upcoming projects have been updated (especially in the 'Oneshot' section - oneshot is what I'm focusing on right now!).
(Sunday, October 26, 2008)
I finally got round to making a new profile, because the old one was so damn boring. Anyway. This is where the notification for new oneshots (none are in progress right now), new chapters (yeah, I know - very sporadic) and new stories (now, this one has some degree of merit) are posted. Oh, and important stuff are above, since I figure that nobody really takes the time to read my whole profile anyway.
.Upcoming Projects/Aims.
(Completion of Fire & Ice)
I'm kind of doubtful that I'll have it finished before the summer of 2009. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is. This is only the first part of the term, and I've been virtually swamped with homework. But let's see how it goes.
(Posting of Story #2, tentatively titled, of course)
Haha. I know it's a bit ridiculous to think of yet another story while I'm so busy, but I think that this one has more of a chance of completion because I'm so interested in all those characters, and it's the first thing I turn to when I actually write. I think that this one's darker, deeper than Fire & Ice, and it's a bit to do with psychology, I guess. I find this one a lot more fascinating. Well, the leading guy, at least. He's a lot more badass than Nathan can ever even hope to be.
(Posting of Oneshots)
I think I'll probably do some oneshots in the future, about the most cliche of cliches - but from the eyes of an outsider. Like, maybe two best friends falling for each other, from the eyes of other friends or parents, etcetera etcetera.
Oh, and I'm doing another one called Moving On. It's about a girl who came back to find that her boyfriend had moved on. Yep. Of course, she's also very fashionable and spoilt - afterall, she's been in New York City!
.Random Thoughts.
(Sunday, October 26, 2008)
I've just returned from a holiday - and I've found out that my new favorite author is JODI PICOULT. Why? Her books are so controversial - and some of them, especially Nineteen Minutes, makes you think from the other side. Right now, I've read The Tenth Circle, My Sister's Keeper, Nineteen Minutes, The Pact, and Perfect Match. My favorite's Nineteen Minutes, then My Sister's Keeper. They're all pretty good.
Oh, and I'm finding out that I LOVE writing stuff from a bad-boy's point of view. It's just so great, you know, to think from the point of someone that you thought you would have never understood.
Yep, that's all for today.
