Hello there!

It's certainly been a while. As you can probably tell from looking at the massive gap in the dates on the stories I've got up, it's been quite a while since I was on this site. Actually, it was one of the authors I watch finally starting to update again that made me dig this account back up. I've been going a little crazy with school for the past... couple of years. >> No, really, I have though. And if I've not been in school I've been working. I've not had much writing time. Or much time period. But with bi-lateral kneecap realignment surgery looming on the horizon, I'm soon to have a lot of time, whether I like it or not. I'm hoping that will translate to getting a lot of writing done, but we'll see. I'll probably be on some really nice drugs for a little while, so I don't know just how much I'll be able to think to work on things.

Anyway, a little about me. I would assume that's why you're reading my profile, after all. You can call me Shadow, Crescent, or CS, though I tend to answer to "hey you" too. I'm a college senior, but I'm not graduating yet so it's not that exciting. I'm 21 (woo-hoo, I spent my birthday at work because I'm awesome). I live in America - for now at least. Ohio is one of the fastest sinking sections of the Titanic recreation that is present day America, so I'm getting off this boat asap. Not sticking around for that, thanks. As far as the education that's eating my life right now goes, I'm an Anthropology major and a Linguistics minor. I'll be one of those rare people who actually does use their minor, as I'm looking at grad programs in Sociolinguistics. (Sociolinguistics is a big long word that translates to "I can work in any country", a thing that makes me quite happy.) For now, though, I just want to survive this summer and graduate from my undergrad. Two and a half more semesters...

As far as stories, anything old is not being updated right now. I do plan on coming back and finishing "Between Dusk and Dawn" and maybe a couple of others. Depends on what my drugged-up brain finds interesting this summer, I suppose. I was also looking through my story list and realized there's a novel I started on over a year ago that isn't on here at all. And that's been a pretty big project when I have a few spare minutes. Shows how long it's been, I guess. Right now, though, I'm working on last years Nano project. For anyone who's been around long enough to remember "White Ink" (and actually read anything by me waaaaay back when), it's drawn from that. Except this time around I'm attempting to make Mikey sit still long enough to help me write a novel. That does mean, though, that White Ink will be coming down soon.

That's about it for now, I think.

Update: My characters for Black Dog now have twitters. However, you won't be able to search for them just yet, as Twitter is having some technical issues and none of them can confirm their accounts yet. I'll have more for you when Twitter has its act together.
