My name is Sandra Leigh Dougherty and I am obsessed with reading, writing and school. I am constantly checking this site because of my current story; Brooke Cleary at Jackson Donohue. So if you review, and I really do appreciate them, I will always reply to you and usually right away. And I almost always will go to read someone's story if they set alerts for mine. I like to review the stories I read because I know how frustrating it is to not get reviews. Thankfully, I have been getting a few. :D
Anyway, school is about to start up soon and I will probably only be able to post 1-2 chapters a week. :/ I am co-editor of my schools yearbook and I am taking AP English, my only AP this year, I am in the 11th grade, etc., etc. I like to be active in my school. My Quizilla account link. My Mibba account link. Out of the three sites I am using, I think I like FictionPress the best! Mibba is okay; I especially like the profiles though. And Quizilla has just gotten really confusing after the relaunch; I recently decided to only post my story on Mibba and here, so Quizilla only has Chapter One and then a link to here. If you would like more updates, as in a better look at when I will be posting certain chapters, etc. you can add my MySpace account. And yes, it is a personal. I rarely post bulletins, unless I am really bored and it'd be a survey. I only post notifications of my new chapters once, with a link inside.
8/30/08: Chapter Six is being worked on tonight. I am also working on another story that I might post after I get a few chapters finished. Also, tomorrow is my boyfriend's birthday. :)
9/16/08: SORRY! I was about an inch away from death, basically. But I should be updating shortly; hopefully.
10/18/08: I am rewriting what I have written of Chapter Six completely. I am positive that it'll help. I would be starting it and finishing it within the next few hours, BUT the Flyers game comes on at 10:30, 10 minutes away. After it's over, which may be a while, I'll be back to write. And during the game, to make some use of my time, I will be cleaning my room. I'll have a notebook and utensil near just in case I get inspired. I apologize a lot, but school started, yearbook started, etc. You should be able to read Chapter Six by tomorrow afternoon, at the latest. HOPEFULLY. I really, really want to finish it, so I am really, really going to try.
11/2/08: I might write in a few moments, but I really decided to write this to inform you of a fantastic book that I am reading: Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin. I started it yesterday about 30 hours ago, and I should be finished it soon. Only about 271 pages. I think it's a pretty amazing book. I recommend it, greatly. Let me know if you read it, I am obsessed with it, if my friend hadn't been over, I'd have finished it by now. And if I don't write tonight, well you can blame Gabrielle Zevin, and once you read it, you will have no hard feelings.
