Hello? Is this thing on?

Um, so just recently, I found this thing. It's called the Real World. I've yet to figure out what it's here for and why the heck I only just discovered it (They called me slow in Kindergarten), but hey.

Anyhoo, welcome. If you've just stumbled across me, and I'm not breathing, please report the corpse to your local police department. If I am still breathing, you have the right to laugh, because obviously I've just tripped.

These are the jokes, folks.

Yeah, that whole topic thing? Never been very good at it. Oh well. Makes for interesting conversations.

Okay, the 'Man' tells me that this space is supposed to be used for talking about yourself. Psh. Whatev. (And so help me, if you ever review one of my stories and use CHAT SPEAK, I reserve the right, as of now, to kill you. Don't think I'm joking.)

So now it's time for the weird facts about me that no one truely cares about, but they take up space on the author(esses) page to make them feel important.

I live on the West Coast in a rainy, but beautiful place (I'm paranoid on the interweb. Sue me). If you've ever read Twilight, know that it's around there. I'm now 14 years, two months and an unspecified number of days old, and I'm currently planning to take over the world.

Voice in head: Dammit. You weren't supposed to tell them that. Stupid.

Me: Well, SORRRRY!

Anyway!

I play the piano (Mostly on Saturday mornings when I realize that I've forgotten to pratice for lessons throughout the week), I read A LOT, I sing (Mostly to songs on the radio, but I can actually sing by myself), I listen to music, I procrastinate (on homework. Who doesn't?), and I surf the interweb. Oh, and I'm a ninja in my spare time.

But that pretty much sums me up.

Other than the fact that I write. In fact, I have taken up writing to be my new career in life (Two years ago, it was to be a forensic pathologist. Go look it up if you don't know what that is). I personally don't think I'm very good at it (I know. A good endorsement), but nearly every one else who's read what I've written disagrees with me passionately.

When that damn writer's block is gone Shakes fist at writing gods, I tend to write strange things. I don't even know what catagories they'd go into. Out of the 13 I have on the computer (yes it's my mother's, but since mine decided to self-distruct over summer break (Those were some really bad days), this is the one that I use all the time), I think that two of them are fantasy-ish, one is horror (On here), three are apocolyptic (If that's even a word), four are romance (But only one is truely romantic), two are futuristic, one is historical, one is a perfect society thing (The Giver, 1984, etc.), and two are just plain stupid.

And I can add. That doesn't add up to 13. I know that. It adds up to 16. But some of them are in more than one catagory.

So that's pretty much my life. Summed up in a few measly paragraphs. It's rather sad. Sniff, sniff

And just in case you're still reading, here's some more interesting stuff about me.

I (tend to) like:

Books:

Ooh... um... I know this one, I really do! Actually, I'll read nearly anything someone throws in front of me and gives me a summary I like. Mind you, just because I'll try it doesn't mean I'll like it. Off the top of my head, I like 1984, The Da Vinci Code, Harry Potter, and Twilight. I've certainly read more than that, but those are the ones I enjoy picking up again. And again. And again. I've also started to read mangas (All of my friends are into them. I had no choice). I haven't been reading long enough to have favorites (Other than Friuts Basket!), but I'm sure I will soon.

Television:

I actually watch the Discovery Channel and all it's sub channels. It's a little odd, I know, but I have fun. And it's better than watching Spongebob and rotting my brains out. On top of learning whilst I watch, I like things like House, Bones, CSI (But only the Las Vegas one), Dexter, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Top Gear, Doctor Who, and Torchwood (I will automatically love you if you know what the last three are and aren't living in the UK). And other than that, I watch some anime online like Death Note, Ouran High School Host Club, and (a recent favorite) Wallflower.

Music:

Okay, so I listen to whatever kinda strikes my fancy. That means anything from soundtracks to jazz to christian rock. But mostly I listen to alternative rock. I don't even bother any more trying to listen to what's "popular". For any of you who live up in the West Coast, my preferred station is 107.7. As of this date, my favorite bands are Panic(!) at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Say Anything, The Audition, Hit The Lights, and Cute Is What We Aim For.

Sports:

I. Do. Not. Play. Sports. It's not that I dispise them so much as I hate them with a passion. Other than Badmitton. Badmitton is so completely pointless and full of rules that I've fallen in love with the sport. It sums up my life. :) And I occasionally like Tennis. Oh, and I adore dancing, but I don't really consider that a sport. So yeah.

Foods:

I'll eat just about anything other than spinich, eggs, or the sweet bean paste that you get in some steamed Japanese rolls. I adore pasta, bread... basically carbs in general. And chocolate. And, as a personal choice, I drink soy milk/rice milk instead of regular milk. Not that you care.

Beliefs:

I believe that global warming must be stopped, that George W. Bush needs to be impeached, that people are free to worship whomever they choose, children's questions should always be answered no matter what, that women should be free to choose for themselves, that a suffering person has the right to die as they see fit, that America's youth needs to be re-educated in the ways of the rest of the world, that the War... sorry, Conflict in Iraq needs to be ended as quickly as possible, that Darwin was NOT an idiot, and that the world would be a much better place if I were rulling it.

My (highly) disliked:

Books:

Oh, I'm sorry. But there's honestly only two books I can say that I would wish a horrible flaming death on. And that's A Day No Pigs Would Die and To Kill A Mocking Bird. And that's all I have to say about that. Other than the fact that I don't read non-fiction unless it's for class or for something that I'm personally interested in.

Television:

S.P.O.N.G.E.B.O.B. Good god, that show gets on my nerves. Actually most of the shows my younger brothers watch annoy me. That and Dora the Explorer (I have a younger sister as well).

Music:

Oi. Popular music. Anything rap or hip hop. Hannah Montana irks me like no other. I dispise music that is all about being in a club 'checking out chicks'. It's kind of disrespectful and it makes me roll my eyes. So there.

Sports:

Running. That is my torture and would be my seventh circle in Hell. God. Anyway. I also don't like... ah. Basketball. I suck at it and have no desire to get better at it. It's like war. No need. No, wait, it's floor hockey that's like war (I have no friends in my P.E. class, and therefore nothing else better to do). I don't like floor hockey either.

Foods:

As mentioned above, spinach, eggs, and sweet bean paste. I also don't like milk (If I want to eat grass, I'll do it on my own time, thanks very much. I prefer to go around the middle men. A.k.a cows) or cheese.

Beliefs:

Not that I have anything negative to say about beliefs (By the way, you're free to talk to me about the ones that I brought up), but the ones that I can't bring myself to have as my own are Christianity (no matter how hard they try), the second amendment, 9/11, and Republicans. And I really don't like close-minded people.

Okay, that should be it.
