My greatest dream has always been to become a novelist, and for as long as I live I will continue to believe that I will succeed one day! Yay! Genki! ;P
I wrote my first novel when I was only 10 years old, a young adults story in the line of Francine Pascal's books about the twins Jessica and Elisabeth Wakefield in Sweet Valley. Back then, Pascal was my role model, along with Carolyn Keene (the name behind the Nancy Drew books), and my goal was to write a larger quantity of books than they had. That goal only lasted for about a year, though, when I temporarily lost interest in that book. I took it up again when I was twelve, though, and almost finished it; the only thing missing is an actual end. I called that book "Jenny 1: The Transformation". It was supposed to be the first of many books for young adults, but it never became more than an idea.
When I was 14 I wrote my first real novel - "Martin & I". Ah, well, I started it when I was 14, and it was finished when I was 17. But still I am not completely satisfied with it and am currently revising it - again. I hope to be able to publish at least some of it here in the near future. ;)
Since I am Swedish I write my novels in Swedish, so before I can publish anything here I have to translate it into English. Sure, I could publish it in Swedish, but then only so many people would be able to read it...
At the moment I am working on many different projects:
¤ Tepidash (romance, comedy, drama, gay themes, a li'l bit fantasy)
¤ Sakura no Kuni (Land of the Cherry Blossoms), (romance, manga, j-drama, comedy, partly set in Japan)
¤ Time Manipulator (fantasy, magic, romance, gay themes, set in a fictional AU Japan)
¤ Nihon no Kata (A Japanese Person), (romance, comedy)
¤ Blue like your eyes (romance, gay themes, comedy, drama)
Sometimes I write short stories and poetry too. But my strong side is writing really long stories. ;) And in my stories the characters are always the most important thing.
