I'm a caucasian girl living in Canada with two parents, two of those little-brother-things (I love 'em, really. They're just a bit annoying sometimes.), a big black dog named Cooper, my dad's bird Sky, my rat Domino, and thousands of books (yay!). I love animals, especially dogs, cats, bats, horses/ponies, and pretty much all rodents (intolerodents BEGONE!). My favourite rodents are rats! I love reading, especially fantasy and manga; and my favourite TV shows are Doctor Who, Fullmetal Alchemist, Cardcaptors, Medium, CSI, and nearly everything on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel. My hobbies include knitting, writing, reading, drawing, singing, listening to music, and eating.

About Writing:
I really enjoy writing, and I sincerely hope to be published one day so you will probably never see any of my big projects here - there's just too much risk in it for me. However, I do enjoy writing shorter stories too, and these I post. Shorter doesn't mean oneshot - while what I have up right now may be one-chapter stuff, I'm working on what looks to be a three- or four-chapter project, maybe five? And remember, I'm working on several different stories, and I flit between them a lot. So be patient with me!
Need help with characters?
I have character ideas coming out my wazoo, from physical descriptions to skills to quirks to pet peeves to whatever. If you EVER need help puting together a character (for stories from romance to modern to historical to fantasy to anything,) just send me a message and I'll be glad to help you with anything you need (be it the entire character or just their favourite animal). Don't be shy, I love to know I've helped someone! All I want in return is for you to make a small note at the bottom of the chapter (where the character first appears) that says that you got a hand from me.

Completed Stories:
-Servant and Ship's Boy : While this is done, you may see more of these characters. Keep your eyes peeled!
-Waltzing in the Flowers : This was an experiment with writing style. Forgive me if it wasn't very good.
-Of Twins and Fantasized Strangulations : Another mysteriously appearing romance. Do you know how hard it is for me to write a story with no romance in it?
-Light and Dark : I really liked writing this, it was a fun storyline.
-I Wish I Had The Nerve : Inspired by me wishing I had the nerve for something in real life. I'm really pleased with it, but it's more popular than I would have expected!
-High Who? : Yeah... I was lying in bed trying to clear my head (unintentional rhyme!) when haikus starting popping up in my head, and then a plot developed around them...
Completed Poetry:
-Afraid of the Dark : Again, not so great. Mostly just an idea that grew, and I had to write it down.
Completed Essays:
-Brothers : Now that was fun. Basically, a humorous essay about those siblings we love so much but that drive us completely insane.
In-Progress Stories:
-Paradise, Heaven and Utopia : Scarlett, age 15, finds an orphaned Giant Otter cub, and is determined to bring it up - with the help of her new friend, Marco.
-Dreams Come True : Ashling Ruya Meyer can read people's dreams - both the kind that come in sleep and the kind you think up yourself. She uses this ability to help people achieve their goals. But Jasper's dreams may surprise her...
In-Progress Poetry:
-If : Simple, ponderous, nonsensical, rhyming 'if' poems. Updated whenever I feel like writing another one.
Upcoming Stories:
-Eleventy-One : He bet he could find 111 ways to surprise me. Nothing surprises me, so I took him on. You'd never believe some of the stuff he did...
-Another Word for 'Fallen' : Neither of them liked the word 'fall'. Wasn't there some less painful-sounding way to end up in love with someone? Not that either of them meant to end up in love in the first place...
