My name is Katie, and I'm currently a college freshman here in the United States. I've lived in Minnesota, Georgia, and New York (I'll let you guess the order). I have been writing for over ten years. Most of what I write is fanfiction (see below), but I have been trying to write more original things recently. After participating in National Novel Writing Month, I realize that one of the reasons my writing isn't all that great is that I can't write about really emotional/personal topics. I always think I sound whiny.
So here's what I want you to do, readers: Tell me honestly if you think what I write is good or if it sounds like I'm just being whiny/annoying. I'm not really sure where to draw the line, so I'm counting on you guys to help me. No flames, though, please. If you're going to criticize my work, please do so constructively. If you have any suggestions for improvement, please let me know. If you think I'm awesome, let me know that, too. =)

Most of my stories are Harry Potter/Severus Snape slash (meaning gay relationships, so watch out), but I have written one Hermione/Ginny and several general (no romance at all) fics.
