I must say I am quite unaware of what is proper to put here, and what is not. So, I suppose I will just be rambling then.

I am currently a college student in the Northeastern part of the nation. (My lifemate and I are moving to Alaska soon, he will be working, and I will be studying at a university up there)

I am a registered independant and vote in every primary and election, big or small.

I plan on being a civil rights and human rights lawyer and senator.

I'm a music performance (flute) major, and a poltical science major, and taking philosophy as a minor.

I enjoy writing for a hobby

My favorite authors are Jane Austen, Charolette Bronte, Tamora Pierce, and Sylvia Louise Engdahl

My favorite poets are Emily Dickenson, Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, and Maxine Kuman.

I enjoy watching black and white movies, like Best Years of Our Lives, and Casablanca, but I also love Star Wars. (I don't understand people who say they don't like Star Wars. I understand not liking the new ones, but the original ones...They made film making history. CGI/Good sound quality/good picture quality/amazing methods of making everything look real were developed in the original films. You're movies today wouldn't be what they are today without George Lucas's inovative thinking. And the story line itself is a mythology. It has about 98 of all the Jungian archetypes in it...all brought forth from their archaic beginnings to be seen in a new light, the light of modernization. Not to mention the amazing soundtrack by John Williams. As a music major, I must mention him. His sound tracks are the best Modern Era compositions.)

I'm a womens rights activist, and anti-war activist. I support our troops, they signed up to fight. They didn't know when they signed up they would be fighting for America's greed in the oil industry. (We're more concerned about finding oil then finding bin Laden...that just doesn't seem right.) I also fight against animal cruelty, and have been a vegetarian for three years.

I am a free thinker, and an indepenant believer.

I believe that should give one a general opinion of me, if it is possible to describe oneself in words.
