Author has written 8 stories for Sci-Fi, Supernatural, Horror, and Fantasy. ...oooh, awkward... I seriously hope you weren't here looking for long, detailed bio about me...cause I really don't want to post one. I have an extremely over-active imagination, and way too much time on my hands. I have been working on my skillz so not to damage your brain too much if you read my stuff, but I still sadly rely way too much on the spelling/grammar check and Microsoft word's auto-correction (but I still need to update it). I try to make my stories make sense and I'm sorry if they do not. I love reviews and flames, as long as they are constructive criticism (you know, one good thing, two bad things). The way I see it, you should not review if you only have mean things to say. I like Supernatural and Sci-fi (mainly aliens and immortals), this shows through my stories. I avoid romance as much as I can because, at this point, nobody's coming up with anything original. "True love is giving her the power and way of destroying you, but trusting that she won't." ~ unknown "He had the air of a spy in a melodrama, missing nothing, liking nothing, looking forward to the great day when everything would be turned upside down."~ Kurt Vonnegut, The Kid Nobody Could Handle "'My mother told me on my wedding night, there is a saying about Greek women: lambs in the kitchen, but lions in the bedroom.' 'Eww, please let that be the end of your speech.'"- My Big Fat Greek Wedding Identity Let them be as flowers, Always watered, fed, guarded, admired, but harnessed to a pot of dirt. I'd rather be a tall, ugly weed, clinging on cliffs, like an eagle Wind wavering above high, jagged rocks To have broken through the surface of stone to live, to feel exposed to the madness of the vast, eternal sky, To be swayed by the breezes of an ancient sea, carrying my soul, my seed beyond the mountains of time or into the abyss of the bizarre I'd rather be unseen, and if, then shunned by everyone than to be pleasant-smelling flower, growing in the fertile valley where they're praised, handled, and plucked by greedy, human hands. I'd rather smell of musty, green stench than of sweet, fragrant lilac. If I could stand alone, strong and free, I'd rather be a tall, ugly weed. ~Julio Noboa Polanco | |||||||||
