I'm in a band that's gathering a fair amount of popularity in the quad-state area, so the majority opinion is that it's crucial to have some lyrics, even if they suck, so some poems I have are songs that failed, and I've also written poems that were once intended to be graded by my Lit teacher who used to steal my hot pink sunglasses daily and is obsessed with the movie Fight Club and who I'm pretty sure has his own in his basement. Fight Club, Johnny Depp, cowboy robots, anything related to coffee, Sweeney Todd, Harry Potter, the flaws of Twilight (they are numerous), any and all horror movies, Kill Bill vol 1 or 2, moon boots, record stores, Sublime, Nirvana, snakes, French techno, Gogol Bordello and HOCKEY (gotta love it).

Creeping slowly over the hill, the sun seemed to catch the small village nestled in the valley by surprise, which is a bit unusual really, as you'd think that something with a diameter of 865,000 miles and a surface temperature of 5780 degrees Kelvin, and which is more normally seen from 93,000,000 miles away, wouldn't be able to creep anywhere, let alone catch anything by surprise.
