Author has written 5 stories for Supernatural, and Romance. Yo, It's RJ! It's been a pretty long hiatus, but I I'm back. First thing's first, I don't think I'll be adding to the any of the older stories on my account, but, because I can't make myself delete them, they'll stay up. I am working on something at the moment, but it's definitely a W.I.P and I won't post it until I have done at least five chapters of it. Maybe doing it that way will help me out a bit more, and whatever readers I may have will know they've got at least four chapters coming up no matter what. That's a pretty good deal, right? I'm currently in college at the moment (a Freshie, I'm back to square one D=) and hope to become either a film producer, or a writer. Who knows, I might decide to actually go for a double major and do both. Either way, I enjoy school, though I'd be lying if I said I didn't think some of my classes were boring. I do like my Japanese class, however, and am praying for help as I move into the kanji chapter. My Radio and Television 220 class is pretty cool too with some very interesting personalities. I love reading. That, along with writing, listening to music, and surfing the net is probably what makes up the biggest portion of my life. My iPod is super glued to my ears, and when I manage to rip it out while I'm on the computer, my Imeem playlist is going. I've got a wide taste in music, listening from everything to Adult Contemporary to Rock and everything in between. I'm a complete book nerd. My first real novel was Walk Two Moons, which is an awesome read, no matter how old you are. I got into reading romance novels when I was a freshman (oh! early bloomer:X) and some of my favorite authors are Rachel Gibson, Rachel Vincent, Karen Chance, and Linda Howard. Oh, and just to get it out now, I completely and utterly loathe Twilight :D. Words can not describe how much I truly despise its franchise. I, in no way, agree with the director when she said that it would measure up to Titanic. I have one book, and it took all my willpower to just toss it into the back of my closet instead of using it to stoke my fireplace. It was a cute book, yes, but I don't believe it desrved all the hype it got. I haven't watched the movie, nor will I ever, and I don't think they should have casted whats-his-face as Edward. I think the main reason why I don't like it is because of one, truly despicable change to the stereotypical vampire. . . Vampires don't fucking sparkle. I'm an author. I have a creative and open mind, and I can get around the 'no sun' rule for vampires, but c'mon, be reasonable people. Edward and his family can't go in the sun because they distract the population of humans because they sparkle in the sun? No sir, I don't think so. Taylor Lautner is sexxy, though C: I'm told I'm a fairly nice person, and I always write back to messages, and reviews. I try to read stories people ask me to, but I will say that I'm very choosey about the kind of things I will and won't read. I haven't been able to bring myself around to reading yaoi or yuri; it just doesn't do it for me. I don't usually read anything about "half-lings" (half-vampire/half-werewolf, etc.) but I have recently read a very good book that made me kinda/sorta/maybe partial to dhampirs. I also can't read that "hunter-loves-the-prey" bit. One of my biggest turn-offs is, and forever will be, fast plots. I can not stand it when I'm reading a story that has sooo much potential in the first chapter, and I click that little button that takes me to the next chapter, and the characters are already doing the deed. I can't count the number of times I stopped reading something because of that. I like the build up, the character development, the suspension of a plot. . . I am for a well thought out smut, though >:) And I'm open to anything once, I suppose, so if someone finds something that's just that good, then I'll check it out. I like to write in the Supernatural, Paranormal, and Fantasy genres, with a side serving of Romance. I guess that's just because I'm a girl. I do, though, try to keep the fluff to a minimum in my stories because I hate it when the love is just plain cheesey. I've written many stories in my eighteen years of life, but have only ever finished two. A sad statistic that I hope to change with my new story, Beasts. I've noted all the details of this story on notepad, and I'll be damned if I don't finish it. I always review. That's my thing. I like to express my opinion on anything literary, which was probably what inspired me to change my profile. I also add smiley faces to everything, because I think it makes everything look just a smidge nicer. Favorite Quotes: "I have vision, and the rest of the world wears bifocals." ~Butch Cassidy "You can't fuck those you guard, because you can't guard them while you're fucking." ~Anita Blake "Absolute power corrupts absolutely." ~My teacher quoting someone else. | |||||||||
