Wait, you're actually interested in what "I" have to say??

Alright, well, uh, I'm Danaru. My two main genres I write in are Fantasy, involving my fictional world of Karon, or Realistic Warfare, usually set in or around Nova Scotia, Canada, where I live.

About Karon:

Karon started off as a Generic fantasy world I used as a setting just so I could add in Cat-people and Dog-people. Hey, most great things had humble beginnings ;_;.

There are Three main races in Karon. Humans, Elves, and Chimeras. The Chimeras are further split into Three breeds. Feline, Canine, and Vulpine.

Chimera's are pretty well known for being extremely fast and agile, but pretty weak when it came to brute physical strength. Feline Chimera's (Cat people, think Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew) are more agile than the other two, while Canine Chimera's (Dog People, think... uh... Zakuro... from Tokyo Mew Mew) are faster runners and movers. The last Chimera, the Vulpine Chimeras (uh... uh... there were no fox people in Tokyo Mew Mew... uh...) are good with Speed and Agility, but are more proficient with Magical Arts. In order to move so fast, they are generally very light, much lighter than a human.

Humans, considered the oldest and most abundant race on Karon, are no match for the speed of a Chimera, but in actual combat, a strong Human could probably actually end up wielding another Chimera as a weapon if he really needed to. Being one yourself, I should hope I don't really need to explain much about these guys.

Elves, the Final race, are considered the first to be given the ability to weild magical powers, and as such, are the true masters of it. Elves generally find magic comes naturally to them, and they like to flaunt it to the Humans and Chimeras who accidentally catch themselves on fire. Elves are often in high political ranks, as their logical minds and heightened intelligence makes them better diplomats, although in war, many elven battlemages can be found on the fields.

Politics:

Most of the events of my stories will take place in the United Haikan Commonwealth, usually shortened to Haika. It's a group of several kingdoms who have united together as one political power. War is seldom seen in Haika because of this.

Their neighbouring country, Ryche, has very close ties with Haika, although Ryche is much more agressive as a whole. The best soldiers tend to come out of Ryche, and as such Ryche is a force to be reckoned with. Due to their close ties, Ryche is considered a soveriegn political entity, however they still have a seat in the Commonwealth.

(This explains why Haika doesn't see war much, they've got pretty strong buddies >.>)

Religion:

In Karon, there's only one large religion, the Church of Cyrus.

A long time ago, only the humans and elves existed, and they were constantly at war with each other. Cyrus watched over them in sorrow, for he hated to see the two brothers fighting. At the peak of the war, a horrible plague began to beset Karon. As Cyrus tried desperately to heal his people, The elves and the humans continued to kill each other whenever possible.

By the time Cyrus had managed to destroy the horrible plague, there were barely any humans or elves left. Soon, the two races would die off, and Karon would be naught but a lifeless wasteland.

However, something happened that day. A house that an Elf and her daughter lived in had collapsed as the Elf woman was tending her field. Her husband had been killed by the plague, and her daughter was still trapped inside alone, so the mother ran, and began desperately trying to save her daughter. A wandering human happened by, and noticed the woman in distress. He began helping her, not realizing that the Woman was the enemy he despised so much.

The two managed to save the young elf, and when the two of them realized their differences, they realized that they had no reason to feel hatred towards each other at all. This whole war between the two brother races was built off of a principal that they had long since forgotten.

The Human, and the Elf married, and the family started anew. They rebuilt the house, and before long, other survivors happened across them. Realizing the newfound friendship between the races, they began to rebuild their society. Cyrus smiled upon them, however he was worried that it would not be enough to save the races.

Cyrus brought together many Cats, Dogs, and Foxes, who were unaffected by the horrible plague, and gave them humanoid forms. He allowed them to keep their Ears and Tails as a symbol of their heritage. Before long, these Chimeras had fully integrated into society, and the settlement flourished into a beautiful city. The Daughter, raisded by the human and the elf, became the leader of the city that we now know as Cyria, after the god who had saved their people, and she had a large temple made, where everyone could give thanks.

As the city grew, people began expanding, and soon enough, Karon was once again full of life. ~~The Book of Cyrus: Birth of the Chimera

However, there are some people who don't quite agree with the church's depiction of Cyrus... Painting a picture of a golden haired feline woman, rather than an omnipresent male watcher... but neither side can produce any proof...

And that's Karon in a nutshell. Enjoy!
