Goals In Fictionpress Today: Welcome to...The GIFT section!! -insert round of applause here- No this is not really a section where I hand out gifts, sorry. This portion of my profile is mainly for (hopefully) future projects. It was made to make me feel better about myself, despite my lack of stories. Hey, at least I know what I want to do, right?

Updates: TWO NEW STORIES! Sorry, I couldn't resist...it's just that I found them just sitting there in My Documents and it made me kinda ticked off. MUST GET STORIES UUUUUP! Those are old, like practically two years back or so, so please forgive the lack of plot and not knowing where the hell the stories are going. I forgot them, so yeah, I'm gonna have to wing it!
The Cries That Reach Heaven is an older story and has underwent minimal editing but I might just rewrite the whole story again later on. It's about an Elvin princess, a war (that comes waaaay later into the story), fairly odd characters and the stupid moments they share. Well, that's just the basics anyway. I plan more for this. ((I'm currently working on the first chapter.))
Difficult Simplicity is a cliche. I didn't want it to be, but it just seemed like an appropriate thing to do. My stories speak for themselves, and I have no reign over them (besides typing it down unto the computer, of course); if it decides to be a cliche, then so be it. I'm pretty sure I know where this is going now (i.e. there's a hint in the prologue!), so it's all good. ((There's a fifty-fifty chance this will go onto hiatus after the first chapter or so I'm trying to get up all the pent up ideas for TCTRH))

"Why do we take life so seriously?" A skeptical look.
"Life is a precious gift we must not waste." Smug indifference.
"Define life in your perspective." Curious glance.
Fidgeting. "...Next question."
Moment of silence. "Do you believe life depends on this?"
Sigh. "By 'this', what do you mean exactly?"
"You know, economy, war, politics..." Wave of hand, "...gas prices..."
"Now, now, you know as well as I do that it is essential for us to have--"
"In your opinion though, do we need this? I mean, I don't see the rhinos or jellyfish voting for their leader."
Casts a meaningful look. "First of all, we are human, the most intelligent creatures on the planet--"
"--That we'd dare admit--" Roll of eyes.
"--We are supirior and there are a lot of us. Don't you see that in almost every species of the world, there is a leader of some sort? The alpha male, the head of the pack...we need a leader too. So we vote."
"What do you think we're living for? Is there a purpose for this fight to the finish? Sure, the main goal is survival, but what of it? Why do we have to survive? Have you ever thought that this world has a deeper meaning? Of course everything and everyone dies! They all have to at some point. This really makes you think doesn't it? That maybe we were only created for the sick amusement of some equally sick shitheads. What do we have to gain from this?"
"One question at a time sweetheart, I'm only human, after all." A calm expression.
Incredulous expression. "Right."
Friday, September 19, 2008: EPISODE #2 - Feelings
"Hey." Smile.
Frustrated sigh. "What do you want now?"
"Um, I was just wondering if you'd answer a question for me..." Wrings hands nervously.
"Mhmm, and...?" Eyebrow raises.
"Well, what do you think our feelings are for?"
"...What?" Puzzled stare.
"Oh, you know. Why do we need feelings? I mean, we just get hurt in the end, right?" Hands on hips.
Sigh. "Not necessarily."
"Huh?"
Steeples hands on table. "It's not always hurt and betrayal that ends it all, Ms. Negativity."
Frowns. "Oh, well, it's just that nowadays that seems like that's all that's been happening right now, betrayal and disappointment I mean."
"You know what they say, things will work themselves out and time will heal all wounds." Knowledgeable nod.
"Psh, yeah, and you know what they say, nothing is impossible. But have you tried slamming a revolving door?"
Silence.
Scoff. "Thought so."
Saturday, October 25, 2008: EPISODE #3 - Welcome to my Life
"It makes me so frustrated, and I can't stand it!" Pulls on hair.
"Mmhmm..." Writes something in notepad.
Do you ever feel like breaking down?
"So, tell me, how does that make you feel?" Taps notepad.
Incredulous look. "Didn't we discuss this in an earlier episode...?"
Do you ever feel out of place?
"Nooo."
"Yes, we did. Feelings, remember? Episode 2?" Raised eyebrows.
"Oh yeahhh." Thoughtful expression.
Like somehow you just don't belong, and no one understands you...
Change of subject. "So, you're frustrated, huh?"
"Yes, for heaven's sake, I didn't come here to be told what I already knew!"
"Whoa, okay there buddy, no need to get all testy...time of the month I suppose?" Amused.
Sigh. "Whatever..."
Do you ever wanna run away? Do you lock yourself in your room?
"And when I felt him get closer behind me, I was like: SEXUAL TENSION MUCH?"
Pained expression. "Do we have to talk about this?"
Disappointed look. "No, but don't you wanna know that my stomach jumped at that mome--"
"NO!"
Pout. "Fine..."
With the radio on turned up so loud, and no one hears you screaming?
"...But he's sooooo cute, and everyone knows that a guy with a sense of humor takes my breath away--" excited squeal.
Bored expression. "Yes, yes, and the point is...?"
"Psh, duh, it's like a love...quadrangle or something. I mean, that other guy, I don't even know him that well, and yet I can't get over him!"
"So you're saying it feels different?"
"Well not really."
No you don't know what it's like...
Slumping down onto the chair. "Are we quite done?"
"HELL NO! We haven't even discussed last year yet!"
When nothing feels alright.
"...So as I was saying, I just walked passed him and the asshole said--"
Gasp. "Wait a minute. Are you sure we're talking about the same person?"
"No, we were talking about someone else. Now we're talking about him."
Nod. "Ahh, yes, go on."
You don't know what it's like...
"And so I was walking out of the room when suddenly..."
To be like me.
G A S P ! "UGLY!? Who called you ugly?"
"He did!"
"No way!!"
"I KNOW!"
((NOTE: I am very bored. This is the outome of my boredom, thus making the whole thing quite boring. I'm watching Final Destination 3, the part where the guy gets squashed by the sign. Haha, that part's hilarious!))
