"6 hours later, I still haven't written a thing, but I won 6 out of 772 games of Solitaire."

COMING SOON!

Kiss of Death:
Blurb:
Ever since the mystical Forces created the Universe, there was the Red Rose and the White Rose. The White, for good, consisted of the Virtues. But the Red, for bad, consisted of the Sins and the Twin Angels. The Twin Angels are Abaddon (the Angel of Destruction) and Azrael (the Angel of Death). Only now, Azreal left the Red Rose after the Holocaust and went into hiding. Her sister, however, wants to find her and kill her for her power of death, which is only a tiny piece in Abaddon's ploy to take over the Universe.

Apocalypta:
Blurb:
"She's a rebel. She's a saint. She's the soul of the Earth and she's dangerous"--wait, no she's not. She is a rebel, maybe a saint, but definitely not the soul of the Earth. She's the daughter of an Angel and a Demon, and she sold her soul to the Devil to save the life of her fiancee (who five minutes later left her for some sleazy, blonde bimbo) and now the Devil uses her as a bounty hunter, and not to mention all the school stuff that she needs to do to keep her scholarship up: volleyball, Shakespeare, homework, the school newspaper. She's the unluckiest girl on Earth. Now, enter Chase: the hot new guy every girl wants and every guy wants to be friends with, the guy who's first attempt at soccer got him on varsity, the guy who can take an exam without knowing anything and ace it . . . also (ironically) falls for Apocalypta. But dangerous? . . . . Chase will have to decide that for himself.
(Song lyrics: "She's a Rebel" by Green Day)

The Garden of Eden
Blurb:(This story is told in two-part narration) My name is Jesse Thomas. One summer, my mom and Kirk (her fourth husband) decide to dump me at Camp Wononpakook while they go on their second honeymoon to Hawaii. Living in a canvas platform tent for two weeks in the middle of the Berkshires is perfect. Thanks guys. Thanks a bunch. // My name is Eve Mayer. I've been going to Camp Wononpakook since I was five. I love it. It's my haven, my refuge, my Eden.

(untitled)
Blurb:After a freak accident in a parent's home genetics lab, six friends begin developing superpowers. Vita has the power to bend matter and light with her mind. Nora becomes one with shadows and darkness. Binny has firepower, literally. Roxi can transform into any animal, human, or object she desires. Meeka has the power of ice and water at her fingertips. And Alice starts to see into the minds of others and get visions. They start training and form a team and go out to solve crime in the nearby city. They are confronted with everything from drug lords and mob kings to super villains. And the mysterious Black Knight seems to have his sights set on the beautiful Vita, but is he friend or foe? Can a city in such a destructive state that would make Gotham blush be saved by six teenage girls?

I Am Not Your Tinkerbelle
Blurb:
Think your life is bad? Welcome to mine. In the world we live in, everyone knows Faeries exist, the majority of them royalty. They are considered elite and superior to humans, although the two species coexist. Most think they're wonderful magical beings that are so captivating in their loveliness. But I don't think so. They're snobby, annoying, narcissistic, egotistical bitches. Back to my issues: in addition to the wonderful troubles of freshman year at Everett Valley High (including: love, friends, enemies, backstabbing, week-long school trips, movies, facebook, foreign exchange students, and more!), I have just found out that I am a Faerie. But could that be it? No, no. I have to be Faerie royalty! And not just any Faerie royalty, but THE Faerie royalty. As in the next in succession to take over ruling ALL Faeries. God, why me?

ALSO TO BE EXPECTED: Up to Chapter 9 in Darkest Nights! Up to Chapter 7 in She Runs With Shadows! Chapter 2 of Long Road Out of Eden! Up to Chapter 3 of Fate Worse Than Death! Up to Chapter 4 in 51!

POSTED (WORKS IN PROGRESS)

She Runs With Shadows
State of Writing: In progress
Blurb:
I have definitely killed more people than you. I have probably seen more dead people than you. I am swift, strong, and silent. I am an alcoholic. I am lonely. I have no one, no things, no love. It is just me and my weapons. I cannot trust the Commission. I cannot trust the future. I am a ghost--a person without any records or an identity. I am no one. I am everyone. I hopefully won't be the last person you see before you die. I am hidden among you, but I am not one of you. I am ashamed of what I am, so I rid the world of the evils. I am an assassin to erase the evils, but I cannot erase myself.

Darkest Nights
State of Writing: In Progress
Blurb:
It's always darkest before the moon rises. But I can hardly believe that now. I'm Brooke, I'm sixteen, black-brown haired, blue eyed, and I have a secret. So do my friends Jason, Mark, and Sephora. The worst part is we can't tell anybody or we'll put ourselves in grave danger. Damn humans.

Romeo and Julia
State of Writing:
In Progress
Blurb:
For many years, the Capulets and the Montagues have been arch enemies. They despise each other. The last descendant of the Montague mainline, Romeo, is a senior and the star runner on the cross-country team. The last descendant of the Capulet mainline, Julia, is a sophomore and the student theater director. When Romeo and his friends go to crash a Capulet party, their eyes meet and instantly fall in love. From there on, their lives get more complicated than they ever were. The "star-cross'd lovers", their friends, and their families get tangled in a web of lies, deceit, betrayal, love, sorrow, murder, passion, suicide, and the family feud of the ages.

Fate Worse Than Death
State of Writing: Initial Draft
Blurb:
"Dysfunctional - a consequence of a social practice or behavior pattern that undermines the stability of a social system." Yup, that completely describes my life. You think you have problems? You couldn't last an hour in my shoes. My name is Morta Moirae, a.k.a. the Fate of Death. You know, Greek mythology? If you do: good; if you don't: may I refer you to Wikipedia. Back to my point: I am basically the person who decides your afterlife. Yes, you there sitting by the computer screen reading this and every other person on this Earth! Aside from my full-time job: I HAVE BEEN BITTEN BY A VAMPIRE!! And I am STUCK WITH HIM!! It's like a permanent, solid arranged marriage! And in Greek mythology, marriages never turn out well for the girls!! Um, have you met Zeus and Hera?? Dysfunctional doesn't even begin to cover it.
Rating: Rated T for mature themes and some language/innuendo

The Long Road Out of Eden
State of Writing: Initial Draft
Blurb:
Caly is a blonde-haired, emerald-green-eyed, punk-rock rebel with band parents; Tristan is Caly's best friend and neighbor since they were born; Ari is her extremely hyper (but hilarious) best friend; Hayden is her half-rich, gothic best bud / partner in crime; Coyote is the friend from Pre-K Caly brought into the group; and then Coyote's friend emo-boy Mitch. The six teenagers go to Washington, DC on a school field trip but the Jefferson, Lincoln, and Washington Monuments appeal to them for about all of five seconds. They decide to become a rock band and try out for School of Rock, a contest TV show where 12 bands compete to win and get signed to a record company, and they disappear from their teachers. Home was Eden, now they're tire tracks on the long, dusty road to fame.

I Know Who Killed Me
State of Writing: Reformatting (from movie script to novel format)
Blurb:
Dezirae is your normal navy-eyed, chocolate-skinned, black haired beauty. That is, until one night her parents are murdered. Not only that, but when she tries to escape from the killer, she ends up getting hit by an oncoming car and loses her memory. Now, Dezirae must unlock the clues to who the killer is, while finding herself, before the killer does.

51
State of Writing: Revision/Re-plotting
Blurb: My name is Legend. Just Legend; no last name. I had one before, that's not important now. It turned out I had been living a lie. My parents? Not really, I was given to them as a foster by the government. Then they came to take me back, the government, I mean. They brought me to their biggest investment ever. Area 51--a place for freaks . . . like me.

Violets and Roses
State of Writing: Plot Design
Blurb:
In the world of Ellysium, there are many races: the Nymphs, Muses, Merpeople, Dwarves, Soothsayers, Witches, and others. But the two strongest and most powerful are the Elves and the Vampires. There are many rules to this world but the most important is: Elves and Vampires are sworn, immortal enemies. But a bunch of lovestruck teenagers are about to put a ripple in effect and start a revolution for the ages. Roses are red, Violets are blue, In this world there cannot be, Me and You . . . . .

Ride of a Lifetime
State of Writing: Plot Design
Blurb:
Katie thought she was a normal girl. Just one of those six billion people on the planet that all seem to mesh together and she was an indistinguishable part of that mess. But in a split second, that one ride around the Ferris Wheel became the ride of a lifetime.
Rating: Rated T for violence and language

Hell on Earth
State of Writing: Roadblock
Blurb:
As a demon, it's your job to wreak havoc. In fact, Hell trains you in how to wreak havoc. Shebalba already graduated so she'd be okay . . . right? And this was an easy job. That's all it is. A job. Just get in, screw with the humans simple little minds, make their lives a living hell, get out. Simple, right? Wrong. An angel was the last thing Shebalba would count on being there. With their feathery wings and their cutesy little "happiness" and "love" shams. But what she didn't count on could ultimately be her failure . . . even her death.
