What or who started me on writing?: Back when I was younger (12 years old I believe) I started to surf the internet for things to read because I honestly liked none of the books my school had in their library. I came across Quizilla and fell in love. I saw all these other people writing stories that were (to me at the time) absolutely wonderful. I began to experiment on my own and write just for myself, I liked how most of my writing came out. I was pleased with myself. These were stories that I didn't ever share with anyone.
Why do I write the genre I do?: Well, I've always been a hopeless romantic. I mean REALLY hopelessly romantic so I write about love. Now, a lot of people noticed that a lot of my stories have a lot of to do with Vampires or the paranormal. Well, that all started off on Quizilla. At the time of my Quizilla days there was an abundance of stories about vampires and one of the people mentioned Anne Rice I'd only heard of her once before that and decided, why not check out the best writer for vampire literature. I found a copy of The Vampire Armand and after reading it I fell instantly in love (by this time I was 14 I believe). My school had no more vampire novels so I resorted to B&N for my literature. My friends had recommend at that time a book called Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite so I bought it, read it, and loved it. After that paranormal became my sub-genre.
Why do I write one-shots?: Mostly, for conests. I'm on a site called Mibba which is another site for writers. Well in the forums other members hold writing contests and I feel that it helps me take my mind away from stories I am having trouble with and helps me develope ideas.
My favorite male character I've ever written?: Jeez, thats hard. I've written so many. Out of the stories I'm currently working on, Darryn is defiantly my favorite. He reminds me a lot of what I'd want a big brother to do for me (minus the extreme overprotectiveness) and I just feel that he's very much the tortured soul no one else seems to notice.
My favorite female character I've ever written?: Again, thats a hard one. I'd have to say Kylie. She just really reminds me of me. Honestly she's not a self-insertion but her problems are what I deal with.

Due to the increase of plagiarism here on FictionPress I've started to become very paranoid about getting plagiarized. Several of my favorite authors have removed their stories because of it and honestly it is sickening.
