Hello everyone. I'm Amy, and this is my first attempt at actually sharing what I write. I'm a writer at heart but have never shared anything. My muse hits me like a runaway train at the weirdest times and I can't help but write everything down. I hope everyone enjoys my writing and review it. Here is a running list of the things I've learned while writing so far:
-I am better at writing short stories than long multi-chapter ones.
-I am best at writing in first person when my story centers around an individual person.
-It helps when what I am writing about has an autobiographical element to it, no matter how small and insignificant.
-My best ideas come to me at night, when I can't sleep. That is also when I do my best brainstorming.
-I can't write when I want to. When I have other things to do, ideas pop into my mind, and then I lose them. Murphy's Law. -groans-
