Where Did She Come From?: It's very simple, really. My friend Helen, found on http://www.fictionpress.com/~foreverforbidden, introduced me to this site. I love writing and do it obsessively anyways, but I never really post my stuff anywhere because, besides the fact that it's weird and a little bit racy sometimes, I never really found a site that worked for me. But, here I am, taking a flying leap into possible failure. Please, review my stuff. I swear to god I'll poke you back.
Name : Taylor
Age : Sixteen in two months.
Gender : Totally female. Like, raging, riling, "I love dressing up for parties but I hate dancing" female.
Hobbies : I love singing and acting, but I also have a very unhealthy obsession with the TV series Law & Order SVU. I'm in love with Detective Olivia Benson. I also enjoy writing personal stories, as well as poetry and fanfiction. If you want a fanfiction story, give me a poke and I'll see what I can whip up for you.
Books : I read a ton of murder mysteries, as well as fantasy, though I don't often do much of the latter anymore. Basically, I like a lot of books, but I'll tell you up front what I hate.
HATE LIST:
a) Eragon. Christopher Paolini is entirely uncreative and irritating. I can't get his smarmy face out of my head sometimes, and it pisses me off.
b) Though I liked the movie and appreciate some of the ideas, I don't prefer The Golden Compass. I find that the writing lacks love, as strange as that sounds. However, I have nothing wrong with it religiously. Just the fact that the way he writes strikes me as disconnected. Ironically, I'm on a rp site stemming from the plots of his series.
c) I can't stand Twilight. I know that a ton of teenage girls who read this are going to have attacks of hysteria over that, but it's simply true. It's sappy to an extent of grossness, and on so many levels, it fuzzies me out. By fuzzies I mean, "Oh my god, it's so sickeningly sweet. Gag me." Ok? Besides, I've read one too many vampire fics where the bloodsucking freak goes bonkers over a simple mortal. If you ask me, that's sort of like seeing a flank of dead cow and thinking, "Wow. I'd tap that."
d) Last but not least, I don't do anime. In fact, anime shouldn't even be classified under "book". But you get the picture. I can't deal with it. It just irritates me. But I respect the fact that a lot of very literate, very artistic people live off of it, so who am I to judge? I mean, I like Star Trek: Enterprise, so I really shouldn't even be talking.
Music : Just about every aspect of my life revolves around singing. Choir is my haven, and also the place that I hate the most sometimes. It's sort of like family. In fact, it's exactly like family. I need them and love them, but sometimes I don't want to be anywhere near them. You know? But choir really is the only safe place for me to be, and I love it to death.
Labels : I'm a straight up word-nerd and I'm not afraid to admit it. :) I'm not actually a geek on the outside, but on the inside, it's kind of hard to lie to yourself. My saving grace is that I loathe math. But honestly, ask around and you'll find out that there are a plethora of facets to my personality, geek being one of the largest. I'm also a hopeless romantic, though the general populace in unaware of that.
