Hi there! My name is Ali and I'm a Gemini. I was formerly Anomalous Anonymous on this site...I changed. Heh?
I have been writing since I was eleven or twelve. Now, that doesn't mean I have been writing well since I was eleven or twelve...it just means that I have been able to come up with something remotely resembling a plot and spit it out on paper. My writing has improved drastically since what I affectionately know as "The Dark Ages of Ali's Writing Career", or the "Dark Ages" for short. That said, a lot of the relics from the Dark Ages are hidden in a very secret place (under my bed in a big box) and will never see the light. If they were, it would be a sad day indeed for this author.
I write poetry, short stories, fanfiction, random prose-ish pieces...and, of course, like everyone and thier mother on this site, I am working (very very diligently, I might add) on a novel. Actually, I have written the begginings to several novels, though I only have one posted on this site. Why? Two reasons. First, this novel is the most promising. The others just weren't going anywhere. And two, a lot of these 'novels' will never see the light of day (like relics from the Dark Ages) for much the same reason as the relics from the Dark Ages (they just aren't very good. Okay. Fine. They're terrible).

Like any other author, I like reviews...but only if you have something to say. As a general rule, I think flames are tacky and lazy and I will laugh at them. Just saying. Now, I am, of course, very flattered whenever someone sends me a message stating that I am a great writer and blah blah blah, but that doesn't HELP me any. I need help. So go ahead and tell me I'm great...but tell me something I can fix, too!
