Author has written 16 stories for Young Adult, Supernatural, Action, Life, Friendship, Love, Song, Humor, and War. The girl's cool amber gaze fell on her computer. The screensaver had been activated. She walked over, feet padding silently on the wood floor, and sat down on the edge of the armchair. This is a story of a girl. She does not look her age. She does not act her age. She does not feel her age. Can thirteen years really encompass who she is? No. But it has to, somehow. Rather like trying to fit a small lid on a big jar, while also trying not to spill salsa all over everything; you don't really want to smell like cilantro, do you? No. That isn't the point, though. The jar keeps getting larger and larger, and the lid smaller and smaller, but somehow, you have to fit it on each time, tight enough so that it won't open accidently, loose enough so you don't have to break your fingers doing so. The only way to do this, is to write. Can you do that, Sophia? I...I don't know. Go on. Write. There will be no harm in it. There are so many unwritten songs, poems, whole books inside of you! You just need to write. Don't be afraid. I'm here for you. Who are you? No one really knows. Neither do I. I suppose that I must be your muse. I will guide you through the journey you're about to take. Again. Don't be scared. I will help you. Even through the thing called writer's block, I will help you. It's just a time for your subconsious to build a brilliant idea, that can't be thought of right away. In the meantime, your creativity will be so powerful, it may begin to leak out of you. Again, this is a good thing. You will write small things you didn't know you were thinking of, poems and songs. My name is... What? I didn't hear you. I said my name is... I still can't hear you. Do not be alarmed. When your journey is done, you will know my true name, and we can both rest. All you have to do...is write. And she did. Okay, people. I've been wondering for awhile now, who is sexier: Alan Rickman, or Jason Isaacs? So, I asked one of my friends. Her answer for me: 'GAH! YOU CANNOT ASK ME THAT QUESTION! Because, like so many great questions before it, there IS no answer. The two men are constantly swirling in a yin yang of sexy manhood. So I say... both. At once. /wiggly eyebrows/' There you have it. You see that pack of Virginia killing sticks on the end of the piano? Men are like a fine wine. They start out as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with. ~Unknown The 'What Would Jesus Do?' Thong. No Christian lady should be without this product. Offering pure protection from pesky penises! ~Landover Baptist Website Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you. ~Dennis, Monty Python's Holy Grail Wash: (as Stegosaurus) Yes...yes. This is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it...this land. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! Wife or no, you are no one's property to be tossed aside. You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people. ~Malcolm Reynolds, Firefly If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of Hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater. ~Shepard Book, Firefly I'd say I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not. I excel at not giving a shit. Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation beget disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C Equals A, or whatever. I also don't have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law. So you see my dilemma. ~George, Dead Like Me PAST NAMES: (I change them...alot.) I8squirrelnutkin RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME: My Birthday: May 29th; Age: Thirteen, though hopefully I've been clever enough to stop my age from being evident in my writing. Gender: Female (as should be obvious). Signs that are dominant in Me: Gemini, Scorpio, Saggittarius. I'm straight, though I would be gay for Amanda Palmer. No joke. Erm... I'm 5'5", which is slightly depressing, because my brother is 6'5". ANIME: Deathnote, Bleach, Ouran High School Host Club. SHOWS: Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, Firefly, Pushing Dasies, Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Not the Nine O'Clock News, Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Mentalist, Castle. LIKES: Chocolate, black, purple, maroon, dark blue, friends, being alone, the night, autumn, winter, animals, hummingbirds, chocolate milk, french fries, music, acting, writing, singing, art, the thought of being old and annoying people by pretending I'm deff, taking loads of pictures, victorian ghost stories, my iPod, remembering to actually bring my earbuds with me on a three hour long trip, awesome accents, the fact that all of New England (except for Rhode Island, lazy bastards...) currently allows gay marriage, milk chocolate and peanut butter, fencing, kicking my sister's/brother's asses at fencing, Amanda Palmer, freaking homophobes out in any way possible, reviews. DISLIKES: Headaches, pink, animal cruelty, geese, homophobia, insects, rapists/murderers/other complete bastards who do awful things, summer, being too hot, getting ogled by freaky middle-aged dudes who think I'm eighteen, when Americans spell 'color' 'colour', badly written anything, custard, George Bush, Sarah Palin, stuff I'm allergic to, when people favorite/alert my story but don't actually review it. Update, November 13th: Yay. So I'm pretty much super happy right now, because I: A) went to an Amanda Palmer concert last night B) Got to meet Amanda Palmer, and C) HUGGED HER. I am SOOO HAPPYYYY... Er... Anyway, have a lovely November, have lots of food and happiness and we'll hope it snows soon ;) See ya, ciau, ta. ~Sophia | |||||||||||
