I'd been reading (and sometimes reviewing) on fictionpress for almost a year when I finally gave up and got an account. But I really just started the account so I could save some of my work when my computer finally gives up and breaks down. (And it will. Soon.)
I don't claim to be an amazingly brilliant author or anything, but anything that I post on here is something that I'm not totally ashamed of. So if you feel the need to review it, bully for you. Just don't overexert yourself or anything, and please, try to keep it constructive. Also, any story on my favorites list is something that I absolutely love and have probably read multiple times.
Some more about me:
I'm a girl, my name starts with a capital letter and I'm older than I was last year. And that's all you need to know about that. Anyways…..
I read more than can possibly be healthy. I am a strong believer in correct grammar. I love run on sentences and long, weird sounding words. I collect quotes (both inspirational and nonsensical), as well as random facts. (Did you know that Marilyn Monroe had six toes?)
If music is my oxygen, reading is my water. I tried to go for 48 hours without either once. I didn't make it. I still shudder at the thought. I can't actually remember the last time I left the house without my ipod and/or a book. I would list some of my favorite books or songs, but there are way, way too many of either for someone as lazy as I am to count off. In books, I tend to stick to fantasy, romance and comedy, in that order. If it has all three, all the better. In music, I love anything except select country tracks, though I am partial to the oldies and alternative genres (though that last term is tentative, since 'alternative' is quickly turning more into mainstream these days).
