I've a story to tell. Recently, while reworking my Art and Patty story, I decided to take it down from fictionpress until I was ready to re-post it.
I deleted the wrong story.
Yes, my "Big Words, Big Thoughts and Big Books" story. ARGH!
Worst of all, the site actually gave me one of those 'Are you sure you want to delete this story? Really...? This story? And you're sure you're sure?' prompts, right before I clicked on 'yes'.
I think the word you're searching for is 'idiot'.
For many of you, this wouldn't be an issue, as you'd have saved the story--exactly as it stands on fictionpress--elsewhere. Okay, I wasn't so stupid as to not have a back-up version, but this other copy I have is a little out of date. Not so out of date that it's insurmountable to fix up and re-post, but enough so that it will take a little bit of time and energy.
And I'm lazy.
Actually, I've decided that I may as well use this as an opportunity to improve this story as well as my Art and Patty story.
As I've no stories on fp at the moment, leaving a proper bio feels a bit superfluous. For now, just know that I'm the little author who... couldn't. And watch this space.
