Shrouded in wonder,
today we begin again,
to discover our destiny.
- Garnett Catterall-Heart

Hey there!

I'm Lucy, but call me Luce. I'm Chinese-Australian, 16 and a bit whimsical at times

Let me tell you a little about myself. I love music- I cannot live without it. My friends say I listen to my MP3 too loud, but I don't care- I love the way the beats and lyrics pulse through my ears at a volume and frequency that makes my soul dance. I love Muse- they rock my socks. And I really like Blue October and Linkin Park too, among others. Sometimes I listen to modern classics too, especially ones with violins, like Bond. They rock too. However I can't stand Yiruma- don't get me wrong, he's a wonderfully talented musician, but I can't stand sweet love piano pieces- only the strange, eerie ones will do for me, like Pan's Labyrinth Lullaby or Victor's Piano Solo.

I love reading, but sometimes I stop reading mid-way because I get bored. But still I love getting stuck into a book, whether it's romance, crime, mystery, classic or adventure/spy. As long as it's good then I'll read it! My favourites include Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (it's become somewhat of a bible for me), Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Kiki Strike by Kirsten Miller, A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. And Shakespeare is cool. At the moment, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth is stuck in my head so there's a wild party in my head, ha ha.

Other hobbies of mine include sketching and painting. I LOVE painting. The feeling I get when I'm painting in my room- it's indescribable. Even though my 'artworks' don't turn out all that nice, I still love it because it's so cool!

I also love to travel- packing up your bags and travelling somewhere new like you're running away... I just love it, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to travel Europe one day. I would love to travel to Rome and make a wish at the Trevi Fountain, see the Eiffel Tower and L'Arc de Triomphe in Paris, ride gondolas in Venice, and shop 'til I drop in Milan.

I love shopping for books- the touch and smell of new things make me hyper.

I live in flats and converses.

I like a range of movies. I can stand horror- as long as it's not paranormal or SAW (I can't stand watching people saw off their legs and other body parts). I love romance movies, comedies and adventure/thrillers. Teenage love movies are alright, but I prefer '90s flicks like While You Were Sleeping- my favourite movie yet!

I hope you enjoy my stories, and I'd love to hear what you think of them! I'll get the occasional writer's block but hang in there! =D

Love,
Luce
